  1. There's #12 for Peavey, and the hat trick for Jenkins.
  2. We have thirteen pitchers on the roster ... Which is why Yost had to let Hendrickson hit, for those who were wondering.
  3. Game is on XM 188. Thanks. I just heard that, too. The list I saw this morning didn't have the MIL/SD game listed, and I can't access xmradio.com at work due to our crappy restricted site list (how can looking up radio programming be restricted? - its not sex, drugs, alcohol, profanity, etc. - oh well). Thanks again!
  4. No XM coverage today? If anybody knows that it IS going to be on, please post the XM station number. Thanks!
  5. The Brewers need to win this series tonight. Tomorrow will be no cake walk with the Hendrickson vs Peavey matchup. Get it done tonight. There's not much history between these pitchers and the opposing batters: Brewers vs Chan Ho Park Geoff Jenkins: .350 avg (7 for 20) with 3 HR Jeff Cirillo: .250 (9 for 36) with 2 HR Damian Miller: .158 avg (3 for 19) No other Brewers player has more than 5 AB vs Park Padres vs Chris Capuano Vinny Castilla has the most ABs vs Cappy. He is 3 for 11 (.273) Brian Giles is 2 for 6 Mike Cameron is 3 for 5 with 2 HR
  6. Nice to have Turnbow for the 10th, heh? Sometimes, there is something to be said for doing things "by the book", I guess.
  7. There's no justification for letting your best reliver rot on the bench so he can compile meaningless saves. Just mindless,"follow the leader" mentality. Uhhhh, move justified?
  8. Did that get to the warehouse out there? It barely got into the guy's hand in the front row. But who cares? Its gone!
  9. Well, you never like to see guys get hurt. But, Roberts is going to give the Brewers pitchers and catchers fits if he's in the game, so I wouldn't mind seeing him leave.
  10. Bonds just got semi-robbed by Juan Pierre in CF. Pierre had his glove about 6 inches above the wall. It didn't look like a real tough play, but it probably would have been #714 if the Cubs had chosen not to use a CF today.
  11. Davis is 2-0 and .73 era last 2 starts The Padres should be licking their chops right now. With the 2 exceptions being Giles and Greene, the rest of the team owns Doug Davis. Only 5 or 6 Brewers have faced Hensley, and only 1 AB each. No hits. Obviously, we don't know what to expect in that regard. But, the way the stats look vs Davis, the Brewers bats may need to be hot. Then again, these things change like the wind.
  12. I love these west coast night games. There's usually nothing worth watching late at night, and by the time the Brewers game is over, I can see what else happened around the league. Plus, after the lady goes to bed, so I can watch the rest of the game by myself, along with the rest of you who hang out in the IGT.
  13. Could anyone that went to the game confirm if there were thousands of grade schoolers running around? Jim Powell commented during the game that weren't many kids in the crowd today, other than ones that are too young to be in school.
  14. was that from Jim Powell? Yes, Powell indicated that both Manny Parra and Mike Jones pitched in the same game yesterday, and after the game Jones complained of shoulder soreness. Parra apparently felt good after the game.
  15. Anyone starting to think that Rickie Weeks might be in that leadoff spot for a long, long time? At most, maybe thru 2006, IMO. At some point he will need to settle into a run-producing role.
  16. Ughh.. more shoulder soreness for Mike Jones.
  17. Yet another play I wish I could see. Oh well, work happens.
  18. freaking yahoo is so slow they still dont have koskies ab posted, what happened? I wish i could have a radio at work Try the MLB.com gameday option in the scoreboard. That is usually only a second or 2 behind the XM radio feed.
  19. Koskie is such an IDIOT! Anybody have a better description of what happened than what Uecker provided (i.e. anybody watching on MLB.tv or something?)?
  20. Prince should be looking for the high and tight heater next time up. Felipe Alou is kind of known for his "old school" approach.
  21. Wow... anybody see the collision at the plate?
