    That's fantastic to hear! I was sad to see his release but good to hear that its for a good reason. Hope he finds a team that will give him an MLB chance. Also this, along with Doston's release, helps with opening space for draft picks and UDFAs later this year.

    If he can give us 30 innings of 5.00 ERA ball I'll be happy considering how he has performed recently. Never enough pitching.

    Coming from his injury I always considered this season to be about recovering. Still, signs are not encouraging. I think next season will be do or die for him. He has to perform in the bigs as a starter in 2025. Otherwise its a DFA.

    Thanks. Fangraphs shows them all as eligible December 2024. Henserson 100%. I like Yeager or Smith because I feel they could be decent in the bullpen. Chirino I think is with this group too. Herrera and Jimenez are not ready yet but as Playing Catch says, they might get stolen by the Sox or A's. I would put Patrick, Stallings and McKendry in the same group of starting depth. Crow might be worth protecting if only because he cost us Houser and Taylor. Clarke could be a decent contributor too so maybe him. The others I would not really mind if they got taken.

    Oh well. Obviously sucks to lose but the team really rallied and fought back into it. Gettem tomorrow. Its Code Red Ace day!

    Yep. The last two years whenever we trailed late it felt like the game was done. 1 run down in the 9th? Too bad. Watch Winker, Anderson and Rowdy strikeout. This year it always feels like there is a chance they come back.
