  1. Saw a tweet the other day that said Ross would be back for the Aug 2-4 series, but that may not be accurate. Hall was basically ready to return but idk what his timeline is after getting hit by that comebacker
  2. No clue. I think Hall will be back first. If he struggles like he did, he can be optioned when Ross is reinstated. Like wiguy said, you also need a spot for Koenig. Maybe 1 or 2 guys can go on trades? An injury? (real or phantom). One of Peguero/Milner/Payamps/Wilson goes? There is a real roster-crunch issue coming.
  3. Yes he did! Hopefully he gets it going. I loved him last year but he has seriously struggled this season. I would hate to see him go but its the reality of baseball
  4. It will likely be Kuhnel's spot that Hall takes. Once Ross comes back though... Payamps and Milner have 2 weeks to get it together
  5. Rea went 5.2 2ER. Literally what else do you want? A shutout every game?
  6. No doubt. Hall will be back from the IL first though, I think. Ross is aiming for an Aug 2-ish return. Once Ross is back, I 100% agree on moving Hall to the pen
  7. Hall should be back by then
  8. From the transactions page. No tweet to bid Dallas goodbye. The guy cost us $1 and kept us in all the games he pitched. Not much else to ask for. Enjoy retirement. Ross, Hall and Williams will all be back soon so this opens a spot for them.
  9. And Rob-Z just got through the 1st in 5 pitches
  10. We are 5-2 when using openers. The Yelich thing I'm fine with. He needs full days off so that his back doesn't flare up. I prefer losing one game to losing Yelich for a month. But generally speaking, Murphy does sometimes make weird decisions with PH
  11. Mitchell I know you had a pretty bad injury but come on you have to dive for that
  12. Hoskins' stat line for June is so bizarre. 133/250/467/717. He has gone 4-30 but 3 of those hits have been homers and the other one was a double. I know we wanted a power-hitting 1B but this is extreme
  13. Only 6 walks all of June. Now that he seems to have reeled in the control issues I would love to see him in Nashville after the all-star break
  14. Koenig at 43 (majors and minors) after 59 last year, Paredes 37 after 54.. Theres a reason theyre the IL. We NEED innings. I'd be fine if we traded for a Pablo Lopez or Griffin Canning I just want someone who will go 6+ 50% of the time to the tune of a 4.85 ERA
  15. Then again anything can happen in 7 games. We cant afford to go all in, and we might get lucky
  16. Freddy with a 4.24 ERA the first inning. 2.65, 1.59, 1.65 innings 2,3,4. He might lowkey benefit from the patented Koenig Opener
  17. I love watching Brice play defence
  18. I never felt he was going to sustain that 800+ OPS production and he is still productive, especially in an International League with diminished offensive production (.794 OPS in 2023 vs .773 in 2024) and improved pitching (5.17 ERA 1.536 WHIP in 2023 vs 4.93 and 1.475). Never a world beater but better than Capra. Yeah Brady has not been stellar this year but to be fair those numbers were inflated by a 1 IP 5 ER blowout on June 30. Prior to that he had a 3.00 ERA and 1.48 WHIP. Again, not stellar, but decent, and I like the fastball slider curve combo
  19. Ah I missed that. Thanks! Unrelated to the thread but in hindsight that Clarke trade was a disaster. Devanney has a .760 OPS with Omaha (would have been a waaaaay better option instead of Capra) and I really liked Brady's profile (he's been mediocre so far this year).
