  1. Well, looks like Craig’s new lineup changes aren’t looking to good right now. Why give Tyrone a day off when he’s finally getting hot.
  2. I know :( However, sometimes they look asleep on offense all game and then just wake up in any given inning.
  3. Well at least they jacked his pitch count up a bit. I can’t imagine they have a great bullpen. Too bad Santana didn’t have a good at bat that inning.
  4. Wow thank you that does make me feel better!
  5. I really was hoping Brice would be stealing….since the Crew are double play specialists.
  6. I know he’s not in any kind of rhythm but it’s just so frustrating to see Rowdy hardly foul off a pitch right down the middle and then go golfing for ball 4.
  7. I agree and to be honest I’m not even that worried about a 3 run lead as much I’m concerned that Miley is going to give up a lot more loud contact. They were having batting practice against him.
  8. I know he’s a vet but why has Hook not visited the mound yet!? Just to let him catch his breath.
  9. Ump is giving him a ton of room below the zone and he keeps leaving it up.
  10. Boy the are seeing Miley very well tonight.
  11. I shouldn’t have said that sorry
  12. Ohhh didn’t Lane Thomas do really good against the Brewers in the last series they played or was that somebody else?
  13. No need to check you’re absolutely right. I guess I’m just thinking someone like Canha makes so much more sense. And that kind of pressure is real and something I think the average long term vet may be more equipped to handle than a late season called up rookie amidst a playoff race. I obviously have no data or proof to back that up it’s just how I feel. That said, you’re also right about the sample size being tiny for the other places in the batting order but adding them all up, you get like 72 plate appearances compared to the 98 or so he has batting 4th. I didn’t do the math but scanning over the numbers I’m sure his obp is at least slightly over 400 in all the other 72 appearances combined.
  14. I like Andruw batting 9th to get on base for the heart of the batting order. But at this point I’d much rather see Canha at DH and Tyrone playing the field after how solid he’s been instead of Rowdy. Also, I just don’t get Frelick batting 4th. Small sample size but he has been terrible batting 4th and good in pretty much every other spot he’s hit in. It’s not a natural fit there and puts extra RBI pressure on a rookie.
  15. He’s the Mets beat writer or one of them as I’m sure they have multiple, but that Salmon guy has a lot of knowledge about the brewers and their front office as he wrote about them for like 5 years with the athletic. I really don’t know how I can’t think of his first name.
  16. Also if Mitchell isn’t back I would probably take Perkins over Weimer due to the fact that he can make contact…but seriously I think switch hitters at the bottom of the bench offer a value and flexibility that Craig loves.
  17. I will puke if somehow Chafin makes the playoff roster. And I don’t think being left handed should help him as he has reverse splits. I really wish Craig would use Thyago more so we can see what we have in him. Chafin looks completely washed, the other guy throws almost 100. I’d think he should get a look to see if he can perhaps procure a Topa like value, as long a shot as that may be, that year he came out of nowhere and pitched meaningful innings in the playoffs.
  18. Ahh thank you! I’m glad to hear that which means it’s likely that he should be good to start fresh next year then.
  19. Yeah and he’s gonna buy my mom a new house with his first big league check he said. I want him to get his chance because he’s a homegrown talent who’s like from New Hampshire or something which you hardly ever seen in baseball. And cause I like him for that Mike Brosseau role a lot more than….well Mike Brosseau or some waiver wire pick up. I’m thinking next year if course.
  20. Hey does anyone know what happened to Blalock a few weeks ago or why exactly he was shut down?
