    For those with Union queries: Stift starts with beer sales at 3:00. You can buy bottles in the Rath any time. I'll definitely be wandering down there as time permits, though I do prefer Bob/Jim so will likely be in my office for a good portion of the game.

    I have the same question for Mr 3K. I worked in Goodhue for several years myself. As for the OP, campus looks weird. I'm back as a student this year for the first time after a long layoff, finishing up just like you are. The UC is actually finished and is kind of in the way of everything; I consistently leave it thinking I'll be in front of McGraw and instead am out near the lake somewhere. (minor exaggeration for effect only) Good luck, dude.

Both would have things to say on the subject, as the younger transferred away from UW (and a starting job on the b-ball team) when the program was cut.

    little late, but isn't it absolutely preposterous to give up outs on the bases against (arguably) the best pitcher in the league? to me, that hit & run is completely unacceptable. dougie has been victimized by defense, the bullpen, and now Ned in his quest for 10.

    Does Ned have any idea that this game might go into extra frames? If Miller has to come in to catch anyways, why does he not PH? Ridiculous. If he honestly thinks Magruder is a better hitter, that's one thing. He's crazed, in that case, but not stupid. If this game comes down to an extra-inning PH situation and we need to use Capuano or Obermueller because the team is out of real hitters...
