  1. [ And then you listen to Tool, evertything is better still. ] It's all about High Life and the key change in Stinkfist.
  2. So with the whole recent ezBoard debacle, i'm seriously contemplating writing my own message board software over the next year or so. So, use your imaginations. Come up with some features you'd like to see. Also of features that are baseball-related that you wouldn't mind seeing integrated into the site. (For example, i'm planning on writing a plugin that will search the text of a message for player names, automatically hyperlink them and link them to their Brewerfan.net player profiles). The sky's the limit, so fire away. R0.01 -------- - Users can register for access - Users can create threads - Users can create replies to threads - replies to threads contain links to parents R0.02 -------- - Ability to require users to validate account via email - Ability to search posts/replies
  3. ezBoard loaded back all of the deleted posts.. that may have had an effect on post count, i'm not sure.
  4. I'm guessing people's names aren't getting removed from "who's online" after 15 minutes of inactivity.
  5. What in god's name is going on this morning?
  6. Yeah, i'm having the same thing happen to me. Good 'ole reliable ezBoard.
  7. Alright.... these errors are beginning to be a problem. Hopefully Dauer can get into Rickie's head a bit.
  8. That pic his hillarious... I use photobucket for forum image hosting.
  9. If there's anything more painful than a Bob Brainerd post-game interview, it's a Bob Brainerd post-game interview run through a translator.
  10. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif i am just LIVID right now about Schroeder's interview with Prince regarding quiestions about Cecil. Most of the time Bill's lack of knowledge of minor leaguers is dumb and benign, but this time he made a real ass of himself. I hope someone has a closed door meeting with him, as that was COMPLETELY unacceptable. I usually suppress a lot of things about Bill, but this time I just can't. He should be ASHAMED of himself.
  11. Lineups are posted first on Sportsline maybe 1hr 15 mins before the game (someone correct me if i'm wrong). They get posted on USAToday via SportsTicker about an hour before the game in a more pasteable format.
  12. That was Brian Peterson of the Chattanooga Lookouts. Next of kin have been notified.
  13. http://images.chattanoogan.com/photo_images/photo_4633_large.jpg
  14. Jenkins sits against a lefty? Hallelujah!
  15. BB for Braun... he took a pitch for a strike during that bat that I thought was pretty outside as well.... SB as well.... not blazing fast, but got a great jump.
  16. Message Board traffic is defianately higher today, but i'm betting general site traffic was higher during the draft (due to patrick's coverage getting hit pretty hard). I won't know until after the report runs overnight.
  17. No, it would still be hosted elsewhere, but it's basically a private machine with just brewerfan.net on it. Right now, our server has several sites running off it, in addition to brewerfan.
  18. [ And while I've hijacked this thread, might as well throw in another classic that most males will get. It's a short one. "In a row?" ] For decency's sake, I won't get into the context, but it's definately from Clerks http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif . Also of note, is that I call my dog Happy Scrappy.
  19. [ 2000: .326/.392/.477 with 115 RBI, 111 Runs, 53 2Bs and 11 HRs Granted, that was at Coors for 81 games, but still... ] Away from Coors Field in 2000: .628 OPS I stick by my statement.
  20. [ I really can say that trading away Cirillo was one of the poorer moves the Brewers made in their past. ] Why?... He stunk every year since the Brewers traded him away, and for big time dollars to boot.
