  1. No, this person was born in England.
  2. Get to work from home whenever I need to, can farm out any work to India that's not interesting, and can play Sheepshead over lunch every day. Not really "perks", but makes my job more fun nonetheless. - $5,000 budget and a week off for training (meaning if there's a conference in california or florida or something, I can spend it on that). - 1 week of "internal training", meaning I can work whatever I want for a week. This year, I made a democratic "jukebox" for work, where people can request songs, upload songs, vote on songs, and all control the volume (we have an open workspace [no cubicles])
  3. I think it's something like: 50% - Metro-Milwaukee 20% - Metro-Madison 15% - Other areas of Wisconsin 15% - Outside of Wisconsin I could go through all of the users and look up all of the IP address's metro codes, but that smacks of effort.
  4. Oh good. I would hate for my boss's boss to know about my weekend exploits.
  5. I've got pagan rituals at 12:30 am followed by my video taped crime spree at 4:00 am, so I'm usually pretty well booked on Sat nights.
  6. This person's artwork is best known for CD cover art.
  7. This person is not an entertainer. He's an artist, as was his father.
  8. This person is not a writer
  9. This person has nothing to do with sports.
  10. Sort of an oddball question, but I know we have a bunch of savvy people here. Does anyone else use roadrunner in the milwaukee area, and use news-server.wi.rr.com? I haven't been able to connect for the past 24 hours, and am wondering if other people are having the same problem, or if it's just me. Of course, customer service has been zero help so far.
  11. This person is not known for chess, and is still alive.
  12. This person is not an actor
  13. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y117/phearinc/youcantwin-64.jpg Who am I?
  14. I'm guessing Soto will probably hit better than Kendall, but I would say Fielder > Lee.
  15. He did close for the Diamondbacks for a while, but it's not like he's going to get a stat boost going to the AL.
  16. http://www.no-ip.com/ I use the free version to remote desktop into my home pc from work. Paid versions allow you to do more, like dynamically forwarding to subdomains.
  17. It's not really meant to be a complete phone replacement like a digital phone solution like Vonage. Unless you want to get real elaborate, it's pretty much computer-to-computer or computer-to-phone. For what it does, it's great.
  18. Skype is our primary means of communication at work (in fact, I'm using it right now). 2/3 of our employees are in India, so whether I'm text-chatting or voice-chatting, it works great. My project manager even uses it on his windows mobile phone so he can talk to India (for free) in his car. Yeah, I can't recommend Skype highly enough.
  19. No, I just have a women in pads with magic marker on their arm fetish, and EDR is enabling me.
  20. That's a really good photo EDR... The contrast of the orange with the "anonymous" roller derby girl is striking. Just wanted to say, that I really enjoy your stuff (and no, not just because of the "chicks").
  21. You'd figure somewhere along the line you'd eventually go see an eye doctor for a checkup. Anyways, I remember being in 2nd grade and having a miserable time seeing the blackboard. It's funny how you just think that's how everything in life is, difficult to see. Then you put on glasses for the first time, and it's astounding.
  22. While there have been conflicting reports that Kearns was being shopped, it sounds like the Nats are looking for starting pitching, not bullpen help. And I agree with the other poster that Braun is off 3B for the time being.
  23. It's 3:20 and pitch black.
