  1. http://www.tlm.k12.nd.us/Assets/Mr_Yuck.jpg Gotta salvage tomorrow's game. The Brewers are presently in a three way tie for second to last place in the division. Me feelo no goodo.
  2. Thank goodness for Chuckie Carr. He brings a smile to my face.
  3. We need Santana to hold down the fort... The top of the order has to be due, right?
  4. Prince strikes out. C'mon Chris. Draw a walk or something.
  5. Bob Uecker says: J.J. Hardy can't execute a sacrifice. And there's the strikeout. C'mon Prince.
  6. Gotta believe that if someone gets on, Prince gets to hit for the pitcher.
  7. I don't dislike Neifi Perez as much as I did last week.
  8. Thank goodness for horses... And Turnbows. And Halls.
  9. I still don't like Neifi Perez very much.
  10. [ It would have scored a run anyway, HR or not. ] I'll take two though without complaints. Insurance is nice.
  11. If the Hall ball wasn't gone, that's poetic justice for the blown calls in game one. See. Things usually even themselves out.
  12. HOW ABOUT THAT ONE, FOLKS? BILL HALL TO DEAD CENTER.
  13. RE: Hardy. I think Yost is saving his big guns for when runners are on base. He went with Hardy there, because there was a chance for him to get on base and start a rally. I'm not saying he's correct, I'm just saying that it's what I think he's thinking.
  14. Maybe Chris can draw a bases loaded walk here or something. Anything to keep the inning alive.
  15. Here's where the Brewers reach deep down into the bag and pull out some battlers and fighters. They've been scrappy offensively all day. Here's hoping they keep battling and fighting. They've got the battlers and fighters, it's now time to see them battle and fight their way past Chicago and earn a split. Let's do it, boys. The time is now. Ned promised the fans.
  16. I'm not sure about today, but he hasn't consistently been hurling the 95, 96, 97 fastballs that we saw a lot of last year. I gotta believe he's not completely back from his ear problem... He might not be dizzy all the time anymore, but he might have lost strength due to inactivity during his stay on the DL.
  17. I really don't like Neifi Perez. On a more uplifting note, http://sidesalad.net/archives/MrTSombrero.jpg Mr. T says that Corey Patterson gets a Sombrero today.
  18. Last game Z started against the Brewers, I recall him laughing as he walked off the field after striking out Jenkins. I'll be looking to see if he still finds it funny, because I don't doubt it'll happen if Geoff is in the lineup. At least once.
  19. Their names are Jerry Crawford and Phil Cuzzi. They should be told to pay attention tonight and do their jobs as they were trained. A lot.
  20. Believe it or not, Schroeder made a good point to end the game. When did umpires start having chips on their shoulders? I'm not one to complain about umpires, mostly because if the Brewers would have scored 12 runs they would have won tonight, but the second base umpire blew three calls tonight and the guy behind home plate really has no place to shout back at Cirillo like he did. There is such a thing as walking away, which is what umpires are taught to do. Poor showing by the men in blue tonight. Low class.
  21. I noticed tonight on www.rickieweeksjr.com that they've updated it to include that we should keep an eye out for www.jemileweeks.com, which is coming soon. Maybe I'm reading into this way too much, but I'd like to think that means that he'll be in the fold soon, too. Of course, I guess it wouldn't be odd for a college player to have a website, but Rickie's seems to be a shrine to his endorsements and the same company is going to do Jemile's. Good to hear that it sounds like Braun is in the fold.
