    I’d really like to know why Turang and Bauers were bypassed …….both more deserving than this guy…..not to mention to team success aspect that should be considered at least to some extent like it is in every other sport.

    “I’d haveto spend some time getting the precise numbers, but that block seems toinclude the two 13 run games against at the end of April and the high scoringgames in early June against the Giants, Rockies and A’s. Those games whitewash the whole month of May in which the Brewers offense was middle of the pack (something like 4.3 RPG) “ My guess is if you took the highest 3 scoring games out for any team during a similar stretch you would get a similar adjustment for those teams. Every team has peaks and valleys ……..overall the brewers offense has been very good at generating runs even without many homers…..or high slugging pct.

    Yelich will figure it out……Black has done nothing in his career to suggest he would be a better option…….not to mention how respected Yelich is in that clubhouse and by Murph and the organization. Nobody is happy about the way he has hit…….including Yelich……but man he deserves our support……..he is one year removed from 29 homers and 100 rbi and he has been one of the best players and leaders we’ve had here. Glad our organization sticks to their guns even when fans complain. It’s worked out well…… ‘People turn on players after a bad month or 2. Not me.

    Turang has had so few days off I’m not surprised they decided to give him one. Jones is the only other infielder we have. Not surprised Vaughn is down either vs a good righty. Nice to see Lara in there again.
