  1. Good to finally get clarity Nice detailed explanation from Quinn on why they went at it the way they did
  2. Has there been news on the Uribe appeal that I missed? This is the longest appeal process that I can remember…….strange.
  3. Pratt does have 6 homers in Nashville…….not hitting 280 for season but over the last 25 games he is hitting 281…..with 4 of his 6 homers. So after a slow start he seems to be adjusting well……..I will keep my expectations in check but don’t think it’s out of question that he can be decent offensively. obp is also 100 points higher than his average for the season which shows decent plate discipline.
  4. I watched a game last week where he hit a line drive single to right center……..fwiw
  5. Brewers have the 3rd best record in the majors…….2nd best run differential. They have scored the 3rd most runs and given up the 4th least. They don’t need a savior………thank goodness. 😎
  6. Never mind….. onhitter and shutout gone
  7. I think the other litmus test for Arnold and company ……”What trade can we make that The BF board will think makes no sense and they will all have to do mea culpas later?”
  8. Yamamoto trying to upstage Miz…….pefect game through 7…….lol
  9. Marshy asked me after the game,” said Harper, referring to the Phillies’ Brandon Marsh, “he's like, ‘That's probably the best guy I've ever faced.’ And he asked me who’s one of the best guys I've ever faced, and I said Matt Harvey. He had that extension heater, and he was one of the first guys that really rode that heater at the top of the zone. Obviously, 104 is a little bit different.” The Phillies’ star, perhaps with October in mind, saw a silver lining. “I'm happy we were able to face him – and I'm not saying that in a good way or bad way, but I was just happy we were able to face him and see what that looked like,” Harper said. “He shoved it tonight. Tip your cap and try to go get them tomorrow.”
