Sounds' Opening Night is Friday 3/27 - at Norfolk (Orioles). That start date is one full week ahead of Biloxi and Wilson, and six days ahead of Wisconsin. The eventual Nashville formal roster announcement will come directly from the Sounds, not the Brewers, once the Brewers have given the Sounds the official go-ahead to do so. Feel free to link to any formal Sounds notices you see. Sometimes, but not as often as we used to, we learn via player social media, who has been assigned where, prior to the formal affiliate announcements. We'll link to any of those posts in this thread as they come out. As you might know, we use the "Your 2026" team threads to post and link to feature stories, including audio and video, that are outside the scope of game activity covered in the Daily Minor League Link Report. These threads have become among the most popular for viewing here. Please do not speculate on any player releases. Brewers Player Development or MiLB.com will update us formally.

Very encouraging 4 scoreless from Gasser with 5 ks Contreras just hit a 2 run opposite field bomb……..followed by…….you guessed it Jake Bauers……he hit one seemed like the parking lot in right…….way way gone.

By telling him the truth……you’re 1 injury away from being right back up. Perk will be ok…….this isn’t his first rodeo. I’m a little surprised with how bad Mitchell has struggled that they didn’t just let him gain some confidence in Nashville. -

There is obviously a lot of luck involved in baseball…….fortunately everybody has 162 games to hash it out…….not 17 like football or 82 in basketball. In the bigger picture if it truly is luck……it’s impossible to be lucky year in and year out. Brewers have made the playoffs 7 of the last 8 years in baseball’s smallest market…….they know what they are doing. To me injury luck is the worst…….you can deal with the bad bounces……but losing a great player or 2 is harder to take.
