And then tosses up a scoreless inning in the process. You do know that he can't be successful in the big leagues for any length of time throwing 1 pitch and walking 17 guys in 22 innings right? The way he is pitching is not sustainable ......but if you want to pretend that everything is great because he has gotten away with it so far.......go ahead. Ps. Just hit the lead off hitter

He has a great slider, he struck out Harper on it. Where was it? He can't throw it with any consistency so he just abandons it....like he has in his last few outings. Then he compounds the problem by not having good command of the 1 pitch he feels comfortable throwing.

I have no problem with the decision......just didn't work. Took 2 great throws to get him and it's worth the chance to get to 3rd base with 1 out. 3 hard hit balls.....nothing to show for it.....beat goes on.

Brewers have already used Guerra option....they can move him up or down as many times as they want the rest of the year without changing anything......

So I'm not a stat geek...just discovered pitching DRA today. Brewers rank 12th in baseball. So my question is this.....if the Brewers ERA is 4.06 but the DRA is 4.57 does that mean the pitchers have been a bit lucky or is the Brewers defense helping them or both?
