    I concur. There seems to be a bunch of Larussas here who want to change pitchers every at bat. If some of us were GMs, would we have 17 pitchers on the roster and change every time a guy gave up a run? If Ned leaves a guy in too long or puts in the "wrong" guy he is a dupe. If the move works out he is lucky. C'mon folks.

    Looking at the stat pack, I am a little troubled by the numbers Pujols, Edmonds and Walker have put up against Ben. Most of our guys have never seen Mulder so this has the makings of one of those nights where we look baffled at the plate. Having read "3 Nights in August" and having learned that LaRussa is hyper focused on batter v. pitcher matchups, I hope he things twice about using his closer with Geoff due uphttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

    Why is it everytime I see this after an opposing pitcher I get concerned. Really, I am having guests in from Indy and I want to show them what they are missing by dropping us. Score early, add on, staple Bottalico to the bench.

    I'm surprised nobody here has gotten on Ned about starting Vic in daylight. Although, seriously, look at the schedule ahead of time

    79 os so games to play, anything can happen. If we are within 4 games of either the WC or division lead on Sept. 1, then I will start to think abou Playoffs. Until then, I will watch what I hope to be some good baseball.
