  1. Apparently our pitchers took a week off for Labor Day.
  2. Cardinals lost again 5-1. CAN WE PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS!?
  3. Brewers have gone 13-12 in August with 2 games to play.
  4. St. Louis has been in a slump and it's awful we haven't taken advantage of it. Ugh.
  5. Cubs called up another top prospect today, Jorge Soler.
  6. Regardless, of what happens in this game, the Cardinals will lose 1-7 today so we'll still be in first.
  7. Our offense has been slow, yes, but you're not gonna win games giving up 8-10 runs even with a high powered offense.
  8. Can our pitchers please show up tomorrow?
  9. Regardless of my post above, I'm not sure I agree with this. Maybe they need to change the rules, but you can't ignore the rules just because there are "playoff implications". What if this game happened in April and SF finished the season 1 game out of the wildcard spot? Should they then go back and replay that April game? A game in September does not get weighted more than a game in April. They all count the same. The whole season is a "playoff race". I disagree with this. Yes, a game in September is weighted the same as a game in April but games in September are more important (depending on the team) because they are the final chance to pull ahead for the playoffs. If you lose a game a April, you still have 150 something games to play to make up for that loss, you lose a game in September, you have 15 games to play. I'm probobly explaining this terrible but I hope you can see where I'm getting at.
  10. The Giants shouldn't have needed to protest to begin with. The game had potential playoff implications and should have been suspended regardless of what the rulebook says.
  11. With the Angels in first place, only one division leader from July 1st is still in 1st place, the Brewers.
  12. I'm still scared what the Cardinals could do if they make the playoffs, especially after the 2011 NLCS. I hope that whatever team faces St. Louis will knock them out.
  13. We swept the best team in the National League, including beating the best pitcher in Baseball. wow. Also the first time this season the Dodgers got swept.
  14. I'm listening to Vin Scully and it's annoying how he pronounces Lucroy "Lecroy."
