  1. . I find him harder to watch/listen to than any past Brewers manager other than "Soup pitched great" Roenicke. He comes off as a condescending tool. Its a "Im the smartest man in the room" attitude.......even when he's delivering the standard "company line" answers to questions.
  2. “I think I just need to go back to my mentality I had before, being aggressive, controlling the game myself,” Davies said. “And not being passive. That’s the biggest change I see in myself right now. It happens to everybody. There are times where you’re going to doubt yourself, where you think that somebody else knows what’s best for you and you don’t rely on yourself. “That’s not pointing fingers. It’s just, you’re lost a little bit and you think somebody else can help you instead of just looking at yourself and knowing that’s the person who is going to change it.” Sounds like Davies is talking about not buying pitching coach suggestions.............
  3. Lol, yeh we are all thinking that. I was thinking Cain would hit that 3-1 pitch to the infield with the run on contact play on.
  4. Welcome me into your open arms—- overreaction club! I am so with you after this one!!
  5. I just laughed out loud when they said.... Perez, the Brewers have a chance.........
  6. This has been one of the more frustrating games of the season. That clown play of letting Machado's pop up fall for a single followed by a walk and a home run had me swearing at the TV (well, watching on a computer screen, but same thing). We have hit a kind of "boiling point".......not just with our collective fandom emotions, but they are right at that time where the decisions we have all been musing about (Hiura, Shaw, Aguilar) are due. Add the fact that the starting rotation has become so uncertain (performance and who will be in it, who wont)...... Yeh, I feel like the sky is falling.. and bad things are looming ahead.................instead of holding that "we are in first, things have to get better" fantasy. Maybe I'll try watching the Diamondbacks for a few games. This is too frustrating for me.
  7. Well I guess that answers something – they’re deadline sellers Seriously though, couldn’t he have been put to use instead of Taylor Williams returning.
  8. I was just looking at that this morning....and googling some of those guys. Only 4 is amazing compared to last year where 20 of the last 30 picks didnt sign.
  9. Theres something to be said about kids like Washburn and Jack Leiter who grew up around the game. So much of success is mental over physical..... and kids like this already know what to expect, already have a comfortable living (unlike a poor kid getting a huge life changing bonus). Id take Leiter in rd 1. The success of Vlad Jr., Bichette, Quantrill, Weathers, Hayes, etc is a testament to this. I doubt its "in their genes".
  10. Stephen Vogt played 9 innings in LF for the Giants today . Wow
  11. Every time I see Kinzler pitch against us I think of the post on here that someone wrote when we beat him at the end of last year. Something like “well done agent Kinzler, you may return home”. Classic
  12. Johnson wasn’t going to make a successful major league pitcher out of Wilkerson
