Trade Ashby? For what? A pitcher better than Ashby? A 1b? Come on.

I plan on reading all of this thread after we win it all. My first thought about making it was "now Jesus Made doesnt have to be rookie of the year and a superstar, and Jackson Chourio doesnt have to be MVP." I honestly thought that was the only way the Brewers would win it in my lifetime (Im 66, a Brewers fan since 1973). Maybe I can clear my head of the distain for Willie McGee and the Cardinals.

Who starts game 5 for the padres?

Turang has to learn how to hit lefties

Can anyone explain the Ethan Murray Nashville MVP thing?

I just watched a video of Brailyn Antunez getting a basehit. Looks like he cant run. Or does he normally have a really weird stride?? Is he playing through an injury?

I learned here today that C J Abrams and anybody else is available for the right price (Jesus Made plus)

And somehow the Guardians got an allstar starter for 4 low level prospects
  9. ecjimg
Yeh I’m watching too. Gross. Sure glad we had Williams and Hader to blow saves in the playoffs

Perkins was afraid of getting hit by the throw to first. Ridiculous

Sooo by keeping Boeve in AA they dont have to give him a 40 man roster spot to protect him? They would just promote him to AAA in the offseason and that protects him?

I haven’t been this mad during a Brewer game in years. I’m lucky I didn’t break anything or hurt myself
  13. ecjimg
    Snell/Glasgow syndrome?
  14. ecjimg
And Joey leads off in the 9th. Yay. Great planning ahead

Wasn’t Clancy the one that ranked a guy that got released as his #1 prospect over all the obvious candidates
  16. ecjimg
I’d rather see Ortiz vs RHP

Skubal is obviously much better than Freddy Peralta, but Id hope theyd take Williams, Sproat and a few more 10-20 ranked prospects. Unless Williams is our 2nd half 3B. Unlike most teams, Brewers can offer quantity with quality. Like others said, it doesnt have to be our top guys...

Ashby is good for another 25 today no doubt lol

Agree to disagree. He turned down a 2026 contract, and got paid 10M. Thats this season. I understand what youre saying too. He's making 32 THIS season on the terms of 2 contracts
  20. ecjimg
And this is why you spend 32 mil on one guy with a track record like his. Dont tell me the first 10 mil doesnt count because it didnt get payed last year.
  21. ecjimg
Agree. But I'd still rather have Trey Yesavage (passed on- probably to save money for quantity in later rounds) or Carson Benge. Payne has to be a star for this to not be a miss pick. Not just "Monday morning quarterbacking' when the 2 were consensus higher floor guys.

Mitchell non tendered? Really? Come on maaaaan. Im close to ignoring future posts by this author....
  23. ecjimg
I really don’t need to hear BA call any Brewers games next season. Irrational, I know but ……..
  24. ecjimg
Hoskins should be on the roster and in the lineup as DH.
  25. ecjimg
Ashby hasn’t been pitching well. Yeh I know - small sample size….
