  1. Well.......everyone talks about acquiring that big bat or another pitcher via trade. Melvin has done it before, but this time he has no Lyle Overbay or Richie Sexson to deal. Do the brewers really part with top prospects? What else can be dealt? Nothing really.
  2. I just cannot beleive that Yost put Jenkins in that spot!!! I mean, here is a guy that just got benched.... who strikes out at an alarming rate (granted more against lefties)...and he is the one Yost goes to to make contact with one out and the tying run on 3rd. OH MY GOD!!! I was ready to throw something at my TV. OK, add me to the list of people not happy with Yost. Whew......he IS lucky tonight! Stupidity worked!
  3. Winklesas just happened to give up a grand slam, so maybe it's him that should be held somewhat accountable? yeh.......or the guy that puts non-talented guys like him (and mabeas etc) on the team and in the game. Not a good spot to put in a guy that should be the last guy out of the pen.
  4. Im not one of these "conspiracy theory people" buuut, I would be inclined to think that if Roger Clemens had a bad sterioids test, his back would hurt for ten days. (He would be on the DL instead of suspended. I hate to say/think it, but Bud and Baseball know what is good for the game and taking down its stars isnt. I can also guess that Bonds' ever changing knee injury has something to do with an agreed on suspension prior to the season. Even Molitor got the injury bug right after admitting to cocaine use. ......
  5. ok, Im going to comment on the wild card. Im soooo tired of reading the percentages of what team X has to do from now on to win 86 games or whatever number. The fact is....ALL of the wild card contenders arent very good teams. Any or all of them , yes ..all 6 can have an UNDER .500 record the rest of the way. No sense in "predicting" that the Astros, Phillies, Mets, or Marlins will continue at a .508 to .533 pace or even anything similar. I' stand with the few who say the Brewers (if they get hot) CAN win the wild card.
  6. Wow.........interesting non call by Sutton. No excitement till it hit the ground this time!
  7. Not sure what telemundo is.........but on my warner cable system (milwaukee) it is showing up on channel 66, WYTU, or something like that....and the tv guide channel says that station is running a movie. Top of the screen says HOU 0 MILW 0. haaaaa.
  8. HRs for Ricky and Prince!! What was I thinkin when i traded my 20gm package seats from tonights game??
  9. Did i hear Bill or Daron say that Brady Clark is a good baserunner?????
  10. I disagree. I've had no problem with Donnelly. I dont remember who it was, but ........one of the last years in County Stadium, the Brewers had a really bad one. Didnt the Cubs have a guy for years (Kim?) that had them running into outs at home plate? He's gone, right?
