  1. The analytics would be to not start Houser again against the Reds hitters. Even the game that went somewhat well (July 8), he loaded the bases twice the first two innings, and first and second in the 3rd, and had several hard hit balls. The long view, as in resting a 25 yr old Peralta until next week, I can understand. His inning totals will Lord willing be up there at season’s end, and rest here and there will help.
  2. Probably a little. I really don’t want to hope that anyone gets hurt. It seems to bite you back in the end. The lineup surely felt different after he was out, though.
  3. It comes down to D for me. We can’t have Lopez guarding Booker and Paul off the pick every minute he is in the game. A smaller lineup allows them to switch and guard better.
  4. Peralta getting extra rest…. https://www.mlb.com/brewers/news/milwaukee-brewers-aiming-to-keep-pitchers-rested
  5. Some want to pretend all games are equal. They're not all equal, but it depends on their actual chances of finishing ahead of you in the division. A game against the Pittsburgh Pirates has no more importance than any other game. A game against the Reds does. And we are playing the Reds tonight…. Yea, the wild card possibles are more important than the Pirates too.
  6. I am going to say this again but Durant is the greatest player in this current generation. It’s Lebron if Lebron counts as this era. Lebron on the break and Lebron at the rim set him apart. Other areas are close one way or another.
  7. I don’t want to write Lindblom off yet. I expect he will be called up at some point again to be a long reliever or throw a spot start because of injury. Many had written off a number of our players (Leuer, Hiura, JBJ) and maybe some are in the right to do so, but Lindblom has had enough success elsewhere to possibly be ok here
  8. Holiday shooting horribly is now another reason to be confident….. still outplayed Paul.
  9. Booker did. Nobody else did a whole lot on offense for the Suns. Booker went bonkers. Double Booker and you get wide open threes. That’s the debate. Contested Booker jumpers or wide open threes. For me, it got to a point around Booker’s 30th point where you just gamble with others hitting a 3.
  10. They had a great OB play after a timeout…. Went from -4 to -2…. Big one and that was directly coaching related….. Giannis layup.
  11. Extremely tough for refs right now…… just hoping they make the obvious calls. Booker was obvious.
  12. We’ll need one from him before the game ends.
  13. Booker tried to foul? Sure looked like it. Does he know he has 5?
  14. Middleton better be going back in….. out like the last 2 minutes for some reason.
  15. And Booker knows this. He will be a pushover as a defender.
