  1. Giannis has to take charge. Stops and get it to him on the break.
  2. Whoever Booker is guarding should be our high picker now….. Force Booker to guard. Each time down.
  3. Is it that difficult to get him on the wing/block by himself?
  4. The whole guaranteed money thing is big here too. If he feels he can get a lot more guaranteed money on the open market (which he should) AND play for a QB/team that is relevant, he could easily wait (or risk) a year. If he is that concerned about injury, I’m sure he can invest in a policy that covers part of that risk. The whole uncertainty of Rodgers, though, makes me doubt the extension.
  5. 10%? I hear ya about the size of contract, but quality of team and especially QB can make the game fun and one’s personal game extra productive. Count me shocked if Adams is extended in the preseason.
  6. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/mlb-power-rankings-gearing-up-for-the-second-half-with-playoff-predictions-including-world-series-winner/ A bunch of encouraging signs with the SB. At Low A, it’s two pick off attempts per plate appearance, not per runner.
  7. Problem would be if you only allow one pick off per runner, if it is used up early, the runner could get a pretty huge lead, knowing the pitcher already used it up. Don't like that at all. That would be the fun of it. How big of a lead do you dare take? Too big and you’re picked off. It would be a great way to get running back in the game. I think I heard something like this is being done in the lower levels.
  8. With the Cubs easy schedule, they could easily be back in the race come the end of July. I figure either Cubs or Cards, if not both, will be a part of the NL Central race.
  9. Odds are he picks up enough at bats and the option will be mutual. I doubt that he’ll be back. If he does well in the 2nd half, he’ll leave. If he doesn’t, the Brewers will use the $ elsewhere.
  10. Bettinger 6IP 12K’s for Sounds….Wow.
  11. Watching MLB regular season games, other than Brewers, are impossible to me. Way too slow with nothing going on.
  12. The pitch clock is big. Enforce that with a ball (not for 4th ball, though) when broken would speed up the game. Just that. If you want to put more action in the game, allow pitchers to throw over/step off only once per runner. More results in a balk ( unless picked off on 2nd throw over). Contact hitters with speed get a bump in importance, somewhat doing for them what the 3 point shot did for smaller players with a shot.
  13. Daily/weekly updates on top prospects would be nice. Is there any where on brewer fan that I could see this?
  14. Agreed….If he talking extension NOW, it’s a good sign that either Rodgers is coming back or Love is pretty good.
  15. I can’t believe his ft % would go down if he shot within the first 5 seconds. Just shoot it. The extra time does not help, IMO.
  16. No way can we trade him this year…. The picks are for next year anyways. If he wants to come back, welcome him. If he doesn’t, what more can the Packers do right now? He doesn’t lose much trade value in a year. I’m fine if the Packers make a point and never trade him too.
  17. With 2020 resulting in limited throwing, high inning/pitch totals has to be a concern, especially for younger pitchers. Throwing Peralta around 200 innings? Eh..
  18. Hitting .150 now…. Starting to heat up.
  19. Cubs have the easiest, by far, schedule left. They could sell and still competent in this division. I can’t see both the Cards and Cubs not competing in this division.
