    That DOES feel weird, but I can't put my finger on exactly why. Are catchers in their first start more predictable than vets -- always calling the most expected pitch so as not to rock the boat(?) I guess in the end it's always the pitcher's decision, but still feels weird.

    So the Frelick for Vaughn thing yesterday was just a manager's decision (in the 4th inning), no injury, no nothing. I've never used his nickname before but i learned it from this board and I like it: just say no, Pancakes.
