  1. Not sure how or why anyone is complaining about this (I know most aren't). Mays FIP is 3.14 and he will slot 5th and eat innings. Romero isn't high leverage, but he's a decent lefty which they badly needed. One of the goals is to get Harrison and Miz to October healthy. Ashby too. Everyone. This is the perfect trade to do that. Would love for them to swing once more.
  2. "He's a veteran with "playoff experience" so he's obviously going to do well in the playoffs again." I understood entirely what your sarcastic and completely incorrect comment meant.
  3. It's not relevant on whether or not Gausman would crack the Brewers rotation or not. The Cubs and Brewers are not the same team, nor am I saying I wanted to Brewers to get Gausman. I'm saying it was a ridiculous comment made essentially paraphrasing that he is a washed up has been, when he pitched a dominant October and regular season for a world series participant LAST YEAR. His FIP is also 3.5 this season and the Cubs have a spectacular defense and have made David Peterson look like a solid #3.
  4. Kevin Gausman is 10 months removed from: 3.8 WAR, 3.5 ERA and 1.06 WHIP. Playoffs: 2.93 ERA and 26 strikeouts over 30.2 innings pitched IF you mean literally last year when saying "success once upon a time" then sure. He is also going to the best defense in the MLB. This was a great get for them and you are severely underrating Kevin Gausman.
  5. Not calling it a failure. Just don't see them getting a surprise bat not mentioned on the market.
  6. You are setting yourself up for major disappointment.
  7. Suarez was terrible for them but Seattle absolutely turned their season around getting both him and Naylor.
  8. He ended the quote above with “it’s concerning”
  9. Did nobody else notice that Murphy called Miz outing “concerning”?
