Yeah just as I suspected, Snell was going to be the toughest matchup for them this series. They aren't even running his pitch count up. I don't tempt fate with Bobby, give him one more, maybe if he goes 1,2,3, he can start the next inning but have someone up.

Alright, scratch across another one(or two or three) this inning, give Bobby Gas until the end of the order, then BP can lock it down.

Glad to see the real Joey is back in the playoffs. Just absolutely terrible at bats. he has ONE job there, to get it to Jackson with the bases loaded. Major fail, swinging at two high pitches.

I agree with others here, this is the most important game of the series. Period. If they lose tonight, I do NOT want any part of coming back to Milwaukee up 3-2 and facing Yamamoto and Skubal again? Good luck beating one of them twice again. However, if they do win tonight, all the pressure is then off tomm night. Gasser makes me nervous, but even moreso, I just don't think they are going to hit Snell. But....if they can even somehow, someway, put up even 1 run in the first that would be huge. Put up more then 1?? That would be big time.

It's selfish yes, but I don't want this series coming back home for a game 6. Why? Because then I'd have a serious Brewers-Packers conflict Sunday night. 🤨

Because they bounce into the most double plays in baseball and May is a ground ball pitcher.

No, to me that's a no brainer. You walk the lefty to get to the righty to set up the double play...inning over still tied.

This game feels like it could swing the whole series from having the lead to giving it up. Why didn't they walk Freeman to set up the double play?
