  1. Lockridge at least can hit one out once in awhile. More than Lara can do.
  2. Oh yay! *sarcasm* He does nothing for me either. He's a punch and Judy hitter. But, admittedly better than Lara I suppose
  3. Get Lara off this f'n team. Send him back down. He doesn't impress me, at all. Will never hit enough(especially for power). I'd rather play Lockridge.
  4. I have no flipping idea why they keep trotting out Gasser in the rotation. I've never liked him. He relies on location to much. Doesn't miss bats. He damn well better not be in the playoff rotation or even on the playoff roster
  5. I mean, I'm not a big fan of Vogey, but some of you act like he is the lead hitting Coach, he isn't. He's one of 3. and one of 2 asst hitting coaches.
  6. Does it annoy the heck out of anyone else that the Cubs have not lost two games in a row Since July 9-10? Like C'mon, no wonder the Brewers lead hasn't increased at all. 🙄
  7. Mike Piazza hit 40, 38, 36, 33 HR's from his age 30 season through his age 33 season. In those season he had 124, 113, 94 and 98 RBi's. He hit .280 or better in all 4 of those seasons. Gary Carter hit 20+ HR's from his age 30 season thru his age 33 season. 3 of the 4 years he had 100+ RBI's.
  8. Tim Allen was talking about this before and after the deadline and he is spot on. His argument was "if not now then when"? They didn't "go for it" last year when they won 97 games, they didn't "go for it" this year when they are/were on a pace to win 100 games. So if last year and this year weren't enough to "go for it" then tell us(the fans) what it WILL take to get to that point? What do they need to see to convince them?
  9. I have no idea why they keep Gasser in the rotation. He's bad, and always has been. He doesn't throw hard enough, or locate well enough to be consistent. I have never liked him.
  10. I was told that who you do/or don't acquire at the deadline has ZERO affect on a current team. 🤷‍♂️
  11. It didn't have to be this deadline. They didn't trade for a bat last year, they didn't sign a power bat in FA either They are allergic to power bats it seems. Is it everything? No, but when you are a struggling offense, with the way they play, it sure would be nice to have at least a couple of guys in the lineup that can win you a game like tonight with one swing of the bat. Plus their style just doesn't work in the playoffs against great pitching. It has never worked for any team. Why they don't seem to understand that is beyond me.
  12. I'm not here to make friends, believe me. I mean all you do(and many others) do here is whine whine whine about Yelich. You can criticize him all you want, I make one comment about everyone's golden boy and that's not accepted.
  13. Not happening. You all get to comment on anything you want here, criticize and slobber all over whoever you want, So i get to do the same.
  14. Great AB Pratt! 🙄 Oh I'm sorry I criticized everyone's golden child. That's against the rules here I guess
  15. Hell of a lineup they have isn't it? That's funny because everyone complains in this thread nightly about how they can't hit. Obviously my point went over your head, I meant why don't they ever trade for/sign any good bats. Sure they have a bunch in the minors( that's really helping this years team, isn't it)?
  16. Gee aren't you hilarious. You guys are such a pleasurable bunch to be around. There is a lot of attacking the poster here(me). That's what happens when you can't attack the message. i guess you love their offense. Good for you!
  17. Seriously, can someone explain to me why this organization doesn't seem to prioritize bats? Specifically power bats. It's all about pitching pitching pitching and defense. That's all well and good, but at some point you have to be smart enough(and I thought they would be after last years playoffs) to address a major weakness. Literally everyone else but the organization sees it as a weakness, and it's like the Brewers just have zero interest in doing anything about it. It's bizarre for what is supposedly a very smart organization.
  18. Everyone lambastes everyone else on the team(with good reason), yet Pratt strikes out on a terrible pitch in big spot and no one says crap. "Oh but he's a rookie so it's acceptable". The hell it is. Not one person has complained about the terrible pitch he swung at.
  19. Hey no problem, I'm here to try to educate some of you. I realize not many here thought it was a big deal they didn't get Skubal, in fact many didn't even want him, but I can assure you all the players did, and it's obvious some of you also don't understand the psychological side of baseball either. It has an effect and it's a real thing. lest we forget what happened when they traded Hader.
  20. I'm telling you all, this has the feel of a second half collapse coming up. I sensed it yesterday, with how lackluster they were. You can all believe it or not, but I said it at the time, and we'll see how it ends up, but not getting Skubal really deflated this team. Similar to what happened when they traded Hader then collapsed.
  21. May I ask what your deal with BA is? In fact I see a lot of people here constantly blasting the Brewers radio and TV guys. Is it REALLY that big of a deal to you?
  22. It's really hard to argue with this imo Milwaukee Brewers When you enter a trade deadline rumored to be in on Tarik Skubal, the top name on the trade market, and come away with Dustin May and JoJo Romero, it’s bound to be disappointing. The Brewers were in on trade talks all over the map, but little materialized. The Brewers are the same team they were on the other side of the deadline. That just so happens to be the team with the best win-loss record in baseball. So, maybe they’re on to something. The additions of May, Romero and Antonio Senzatela fortify an already formidable pitching staff. Bo Naylor provides catching depth. But when the Dodgers land Skubal and the Cubs reshape their entire rotation, all of these smaller moves leave you wanting a bit more. — SN
  23. Not power wise, which is what I wanted. This lineup NEEDS more power. As we saw last year and continually see through out the playoffs, it is REALLY hard to string together enough hits in a single inning
