    My thoughts on practice #2: I can walk today. Sweet. Some kind of mix in the batting order sounds good to me as well. Since everyone showing for a game will be in the lineup -- which means maybe up to a 15-man order -- I'm not sure it'd serve us well to load up in the 3-6 spots or anything.. not too concerned about it, though. I'm not sure if anything was planned for practice next week, but I won't be able to make it.. out-of-town funeral. The week after that I'll be moving, but I could probably be persuaded to take a break to attend a practice http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    Sounds like my friends are going to the Sunday game instead of Saturday's, so I should be there too. (brain is happy.. legs/shoulders/back are not.. screw 'em.) As far as positions, I'll throw this out -- My arm isn't really where it should be, so I'm thinking I'd fit best on the right side of the diamond.. where there probably won't be as many balls hit http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif 2B, RF, whatever. Shallow left-center seems like a pretty good place for the 10th guy to me, judging by where we were hitting the other day.. I'd say we can probably count on most batters to pull the ball. Easy to shift accordingly for lefties, too.     Just got out of the ice bath... Hurts to type. Hurts to think....hehe. Ok, not really, but my back is pretty sore.     Do we know for sure if metal cleats are allowed? Picked some up today, but I won't wear them if someone's not positive they're cleared for use...     Woo! Can't wait.. this'll be fun. Thanks for taking the time to put it together, Jamie. Possibility for practice field... West Allis Hale HS.. They have four baseball diamonds, which always seem to be pretty empty -- this time of year, anyways. Might change in the next month or two with Hale and Central playing there. No clue whether there'd be any cost associated in using one, though. I'd be down for throwing a ball around or whatever a little, myself.
