  8. Um, silly question. What does AO mean on Jimbo's stats page? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif my.execpc.com/~silkey/brewerfan/statistics.htm I figure GO is groundouts.. no clue on AO, though. Almost done with the rest. Edit: Same for BF/BB on the pitching stats..
  9. Probably in part from the extra space it likes to throw in right after the start of the code tags.. kinda dumb, that's one of the easier things to program.
  10. Hehe, it's cool. I was probably looking at the wrong thing on the score sheet. Fixing...
  11. BF.net defeats Landmark 1850 Inn, 8-6. Recap, box, stats coming up at some point in the next day. We'll see how long it takes me http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif If I get lazy/stupid I may just scan the score sheets. Edit: 30 minutes later... Dude, this takes awhile. Props to Jimbo for doing this every week. Edit: 40 minutes later... Scanned the score sheets. Hopefully that tides everyone over till tomorrow. Might not be until evening until I can get the rest up -- working at 7am every day sucks! Landmark Score Sheet Brewerfan.net Score Sheet Edit: Finally! That's a lot of work. Even more props to Jimbo. 12. Gametime comin up!!!!!1!!!! 37u42hfhg7gt34hf4f7h4fh Er, sorry. We have a solid chance at getting our first (and only) season sweep, though. That's kinda exciting.
  13. Count me as a probable.
  14. Houlie, you're welcome to take LF if you like. I can squeeze in wherever.
  15. It might be a lost cause.. but I can't say I remember that happening, exactly. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif It may have been Ajay that made the initial play... but hey, happy to have a third-generation outfield assist, if not.
  16. No problem, man. You've more than made up for it.
  17. BF.net falls to Bay Street Pub, 17ish to 5ish. (Edit: What Jimbo said -- 20-5. Er, 19-5.) Might have been a few cool guys on their team, but they were loudly outvoiced by several (unprintable)s. Not an enjoyable game. I did appreciate the way we (largely http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif ) kept our mouths shut and played classy ball as usual. It could easily have gotten much uglier. I'd also like to express a newfound appreciation for those who have been playing the outfield. Those balls are tough to see. Because of the lack of lighting from behind, about all you see on fly balls is a sort of crescent moon shape... the ball seems to jump around quite a bit.
  18. Hmm.. yay! Softball in 2 hours! (Just seemed kinda quite, is all.) (Er, that should say "quiet.")
  19. Ah, k. Yeah, I thought you were headed to a funeral.. which is what that usually refers to http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Also glad to hear that's not the case.
  20. Count me as a vote for daisy chain lineup. Not too worried about it either way, though.
  21. Yeah, I'll keep score (as much as possible) and post the stuff.. not a problem. What does beravement mean, exactly? Hehe...
  22. Yeah, I was one that raised my hand, but it didn't work out that week.. no big deal, then or now, like I said -- just want to make sure everybody's cool with what's going on. I'm fine with playing wherever, any amount.. even if that's on the bench the whole game, if anyone wants some more PT or Jimbo's playing and we need a scorekeeper. Just want to do my part.
  23. Just brainstorming.. but here's a wild and crazy thought that might address a few defensive issues. Point one: balls are rarely hit to the right side of the outfield (I once played four innings out there in a game, without having to make a single move). Point two: balls frequently dribble through the left side of the infield, in the SS/3B gap (though not as often as they might -- solid D over there). What if we brought one of those right-fielders in to play as an extra infielder on the left side? OF could be aligned like RC, LC, and LF against the typical right-handed pull hitter. IF would look like it would if there was a crazy shift to the left, but with a regular 2B position as well. Might need adjustments depending on the opponent.. but it's a thought. Feel free to shoot it down http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  24. I'll throw in as a backup IF as well... felt good at 2B last week, but that seems to be a popular spot and I'm flexible. Just to be clear, I have no problems with my playing time to this point. I honestly rather like having half the game to concentrate on hitting (seeing-eye singles take focus, man!), helping out with the scoring, or doing whatever I can to help... but it sounds a bit like we're moving away from the equal playing time mantra. To this point I haven't played a full game on defense, and that's cool -- I only offer it as an example, because there may be others and I don't want to see someone else slighted by lack of mention. Anyhow, maybe I'm wrong; just wanted to bring it up as a concern.
  25. I'll probably be up for one next Sunday, if enough people are in town...
