  1. I hope for your sake, EL C., that your post was meant to be in blue. Don't waste your sobriety on this pile of crap.
  2. I know the baseball Gods aren't very big fans of the Brewers franchise, but could they turn there heads just once and let something good happen to this team?
  3. Let's hope the Brewers catch a little "Jungle Karma" tonight. If it doesn't work, the Brewers may have to resort to voodoo dolls.
  4. This is true. Bill Hall has to be the worst third baseman in the NL. Gamel should be able to accomplish at least that.
  5. If you would have told me before the game that Young would pitch 7 perfect innings, I would have said, "hmmm...that's not surprising."
  6. The Brewers have scored 6 runs in 33 innings against the Padres. Impressive offense.
  7. Bill Hall sucks. We all know that. Putting Bill Hall in the lineup every day takes a certain type of stupidity only found in one Ned Yost.
  8. Bill Hall...go away.
  9. ...and when scoring a run is cause for celebration.
  10. Manny Parra must be mentally weak. He folds so easily. One bad play and he starts pitching like crap.
  11. Putrid. Absolutely putrid. I think the Nationals have a better chance making the playoffs than the Brewers have overcoming a 4-run deficit.
  12. Why Suppan even started the 6th inning puzzles me. Why he was allowed to give up a run and then leave the bases loaded perplexes me. Why Ned Yost has one of the only 32 major league managing jobs in the whole world leaves me flabbergasted.
  13. I can hear Yost after the game now: "'Soup' really battled out there."
  14. Time for the one of the veterans on this team, be it Cameron, Kendall or whoever, to get this team together and tell them all to get their heads out of their rear ends. This team was given a golden opportunity when they acquired C.C. and if they blow it, I think the fans of Milwaukee will stay away from this team in droves next year. The silver lining: no more Yost.
  15. This is frustrating to say the least.
  16. Looks like another game where the Brewers are going to need 20 baserunners to score 5 runs. Hopefully it will be enough to win.
  17. My thoughts exactly. If the Astros still had a couple of series against us then I would definitely be a little worried. But they don't, and I'm not. The Brewers have to play pretty crappy this month to not make the playoffs. If they play that bad, then they don't deserve a postseason appearance. And if that happens, I could care less who passes them.
  18. Cubs lose!!! Well, the Mets fiasco only cost us 1 game to the Phillies and Cards and no games to the Cubs. We did lose 2 games to the Nats, though.
  19. How did the Astros get their 4th run?
  20. Randy Wolf at 117 pitches and it looks like he's going to pitch the 9th.
  21. Wow! Bases clearing double for Guzman! 9-5 Nats. I guess there are some really crappy bullpens in the NL.
  22. Nats take the lead in the bottom of the 8th!!
  23. Nats take the lead in the bottom of the 8th!!
  24. Nats take the lead in the bottom of the 8th!!
  25. It must be nice to have a 1st baseman that actually hits home runs from time to time.
