I think it'd be 7-4, because Koskie's brain cramp was the only play that cost us a run. If Rickie wouldn't have gotten thrown out at 3rd Jenks would have just GIDP. Everything would have been different with 2 runners on. We can't assume that Jenkins would have still hit a grounder to 2nd.
For Weeks it seems like- one step forward, two steps back. I know he's young, but sometimes common sense has to come in to play. Him being at 3rd instead of 2nd meant absolutely nothing.
Rickie Weeks disappoints me. I thought he was going to one of those guys that rolls out of bed and goes 3-4, ala Paul Molitor. I know that he hasn't even had a full year yet. Still, I'm disappointed.
Today I thought that Capuano was going to have to pitch like an ace for the Brewers to win the game. He did just that. What a much-needed perfomance. Good job Cappy. except for that home run.
With the current state of the Brewers offense, I think it's going to take an act of God, or 16 straight scoreless innings by the relievers for the Brewers to win.
I think the Cardinals could have made 7 errors this game and it would still be tied. Brewers have to make them pay for their mistakes. That is what really good teams do.
