    With the way the Mets are playing the Brewers really need to hold on to this game. Hate to see them go into NY with a 4-game losing streak Error on Rolen, Koskie on 1st Jenks on 2nd one out. 3 errors on the Cardinals. Make them PAY for it. Like they do to us.

    Lyle is batting .291 against lefties. If I recall, he was benched against lefties at one point this year. moof

    Well, I think JJ has finally passed Weeks in batting average. Unbelievable. It shows how well JJ has played in the last few months, and how much Weeks has struggled. JJ is the Brewers ROY. moof

    Weeks has to get Hall to third. He hasn't been very good at situational hitting. Seems like he wants to drive every pitch through the left field wall.

    Wow, three hits in the first five innings. This offensive juggernaut continues to roll. Remember eight days ago when the Brewers got 10 hits for the first time in like 16 games? Well, that breakout game wasn't a harbinger of things to come. The offense still stinks, and these games are getting brutal to watch. Hey Ned. All We Are Saying, Is Give Prince A Chance! (There may be no other reason to watch this team in Sept.)

    I was hoping for more contact from Weeks. Solid contact. I thought he was one of those guys that can roll out of bed and go 3 for 4. Plus, it's not like rookies haven't posted great numbers before. Remember, Weeks was the second pick in the draft. I think we should expect more from him than other prospects. moof

    I was under the impression that Weeks was going to hit for a high average. I'm sure Weeks will be just fine. Especially next year. He can get his thumb fixed and he'll be 100%. moof

    It was sarcasm. Obviously Weeks is the best rookie on the Brewers. As far as Weeks being "excellent," well I don't know about that. He's made a lot of errors. He strikes out a lot. Jeff Francouer for Atlanta has been "excellent". To me, Weeks has been somewhat of a disappointment so far. Maybe I was expecting too much from him.

    Boy, there sure was a lot of rookie of the year talk for Rickie Weeks on this board since his call up. At this point, I don't know if Weeks would win ROTY on his own team. Is Weeks going to the AFL this year?
