    I'm starting to seizure. Ben Sheets has retired 1 of the last 11 batters he has faced. They gave us 2 of the outs. Take him out, please.

    I have goosebumps. He's finally rewarded for 4 solid ABs. Too bad we didn't get him up here as soon as Brady went down. Hopefully he rakes over the next week and we keep him as our 4th OF when Brady gets back.

    Doug Jones: Nothing is confusing about the change of heart by this message board. I was just trying to state how dramatic Jenkins's turn-around has been. He's regained everyone's trust in a very short period of time, and rightfully so. Sorry for being ambiguous.

    I wish I would have went into a coma three weeks ago, just so I could come back to this message board today and be amazed by how many people are complaining about not pinch-hitting Jenkins. Trust me, I agree with you guys. But it's a huge turn-around from 3 weeks ago.

    I'd look to the defense in the late innings and the absolute lack of offense after the 3rd before I look to Obie. We didn't put him in until we were low on options, and most long relievers aren't any better than he is anyway. But feel free to vent. You'd think we'd be better at dealing with this by now considering even the best teams lose 60 games, but it sucks that most of ours are reminiscent of kicks to the gonads.
