  1. Gotta have a dumb challenge in there tonight in honor of Eberflus.
  2. When you can’t move the ball against a 3rd string defense, that’s 100% being outcoached.
  3. We are kidding ourselves that we are on the same level as the Lions. They’ve got their JV defense in and this is still a mismatch.
  4. Zero resistance by the Packer D.
  5. I know I will get ripped to shreds for this, but I’ll never understand why people seem to need to give Montas credit for more than the mediocrity that we got from him. Is it just because we want to be convinced that Arnold made a great deal? Montas was not awful, but he certainly wasn’t more productive than a decent back end of the rotation starter. Comparatively, Junis threw only 16 less innings after the deal, far more productive innings at a fraction of the cost. Perhaps he will be better in 2025. I am just fine letting the Mets be the ones to find out.
  6. Can’t tell if this is serious or not, but the level of conspiracy that would be required for a league-wide fix, and the several hundred people that would have to be in on it, are way beyond anything that would be realistic to pull off without numerous leaks and whistleblowers.
  7. Seriously have no idea what Tony Romo was talking about right there when he was going on about Lamar losing possession.
  8. Caleb Williams on a play that was clearly at least partly his fault: “I’m focused on getting everyone back and getting everyone lined up," Williams said. "I don’t have a microphone, so there is no communication with coach there.” Aidan O’Connell on botched snap: “It’s completely my fault.”
  9. “Week 14: Bad Teams finding a way to blow games in field goal range.”
  10. Will they just become? They already are.
  11. Danders Carlson is having a rough day.
  12. Typical gift PI call for the Chiefs. Contact was minimal, ball was horrendously underthrown, I don’t think Hopkins could have got to it anyway.
  13. What a dumb 4th down call by Pierce. Worst running game in football against that wall never had a shot.
  14. It’s clear that Eberflus should be accountable for what happened yesterday, among other events, and deserved his firing. However, the lack of accountability from Caleb would irritate me as a Bears fan, even as a rookie. It is absolutely his job to know the situation, know the game clock, and have the ability to improvise after the sack without inexplicably burning 25+ seconds before the next snap and walking off the field with a timeout in your pocket and no FG attempt. I’m not saying it’s an easy job, but if that had been Jordan Love, you better believe we’d be looking for some accountability on his part for the mistake.
  15. “I’m focused on getting everyone back and getting everyone lined up," Williams said. "I don’t have a microphone, so there is no communication with coach there. We could have taken a timeout, but if we hit that play, no one would be worried about it.” “Knee is fine, but that play was kind of funky," Williams said. “I didn’t appreciate him diving right at my knee, but it is good.” Caleb’s middle name should be a hyphenated “Passive-Aggressive”.
  16. Really foolish penalty by Jenkins, but 3 score game either way.
  17. Yeah I saw the same thing. If he plays the ball and not the WR it is 34-11.
  18. Huge stop. Get a few first downs and move the ball, don't just 3 and out it right back to them.
  19. How many penalties does this defensive line commit at the snap?
  20. Absolutely hated in. Again, playing not to lose. In any other situation he goes for that. The worst case scenario is Miami is buried deep in their own territory. He played it like it didn't matter either way.
  21. Just a terrible call on 3rd and 1. Never had a chance. Green Bay playing not to lose the game. They're going to get themselves in trouble if they keep that up.
  22. I just cannot with Wicks anymore. Show me an NFL wide receiver with worse hands.
  23. Thibodeaux throwing his name in the hat for dumbest personal foul of the season.
  24. Not sure where you read that I said Caleb didn’t play well in the second half, I never said he didn’t. He still was awful in the first half, missed a lot of throws, and tends to hold the ball too long. HC problem or not, the QB losing track of time at the end of the game and losing their shot at a FG is inexcusable clock management. Caleb has talent, no doubt, but Nix and Daniels are far ahead of him in the ROTY race, it’s not close. Having your team in a playoff race matters. Caleb also has a far more talented receiving corps than either of Denver or Washington. Both Nix and Daniels also appear to be far more coachable than Caleb, it’s not too surprising that they have had more early success. Eberflus will be fired as he should be but you can’t just say it’s all a coaching problem and nothing to do with Caleb. He played his part in botching the last play clock management as plain as day. None of that was really my point to begin with. I was simply refuting your original claim that most other rookie QBs are getting blown out which is clearly not the case.
  25. Not really. Nix and Daniels are both winning games and look far better than Caleb while having their respective teams competing for the playoffs. Penix is a redshirt. Maye is probably the only one who fits this description but he has far worse of a supporting cast than Caleb and is showing promise as well.
