    I really wish Crow could have gotten the win, but I am sure that pitching well and contributing to getting it still feels good. Aside from him, this is the ugliest 3 game winning streak I’ve ever seen. Bar none. I’ll take the ugliest 3 game winning streak over any 6 game losing streak, though.

    He had another early hook on a starter that was performing very well and once again did not manage the pen well.

    You can 100% come out and say something about it, and they can huddle and change it if it’s wrong. It wasn’t a “well there’s nothing they’re going to do” situation. He just didn’t notice.

    Unless the runner was assisted it’s considered incidental contact and it’s not as big of a deal as Bill and Brian are making it out to be.

    I guess my speculative answer to this would be they simply don’t have any better available options, so I would guess they’re going to be waiting until Pratt is ready. If late July rolls around and they’re in clear buy mode, Ortiz is still completely unplayable and Pratt just looks overmatched at AAA, I could see a small move for some rental infielder. But even if that comes to fruition, it’s months out.

    It’s why he’s the MVP of the team and I don’t think it’s close. We may never know how much of a difference he makes for the pitching staff.
