  1. I don’t have a problem with saving the timeout, but you HAVE to hike the ball with at least 10 seconds left on the clock. Or burn it immediately, play for 5-10 yards and get ready for the fire drill FG. Keeping it in your pocket and running it all the way down to 6 seconds before the snap was not an option. Did not help that they burned two timeouts with the clock stopped in the last 3 minutes of the game because Caleb runs the play clock down to nothing on every single snap.
  2. I see Jordan Love remains the only FOX Thanksgiving winner who doesn’t get a turkey leg for some reason that was still never explained.
  3. I can’t believe how much of a joke the Bears are.
  4. Two dead ball timeouts with the clock stopped when you need to protect the clock. Only the Bears.
  5. Somehow, the Bears have a chance to win this thing. They’ll find a way not to, but still.
  6. I mean they look awfully good defensively too, and not just today.
  7. I don’t even know why they bother punting. It’s not like they can stop them from getting right back in scoring range anyway.
  8. My god, just fake a punt or something, Eberflus. You can’t just give them the ball back after a 3 and out the entire game.
  9. Crazy that this would still kind of be a game if the Bears go down and score a TD here, but so far they haven’t even been able to muster a 1st down much less a TD.
  10. 2nd and 23 and the Bears can’t even get to 3rd down defensively. They are dogwater.
  11. How has losing Hutchinson not really affected the Lions seemingly at all?
  12. Quite possibly, but they aren’t going to see the Chicago Bears in January.
  13. I guess he figures they aren’t going to stop them, so his best bet is to hope for crazy things from replay officials.
  14. Matt Eberflus makes Mike McCarthy look like a genius when it comes to challenging plays.
  15. Heck, Tom Brady and the Patriots were once the feel-good story of the NFL.. Rams were heavily favored in 2002… greatest show on turf. Already had won a SB. Patriots were the scrappy underdogs, led by a young late round QB replacing Drew Bledsoe. Patriots didn’t even have individual player introductions for that Super Bowl, just opted to be introduced as a team, pulled off the upset, and America loved it. Plus it was a few months after 9/11, so “Patriots” fit.
  16. This season is a good reminder that no matter the young talent on your team, nothing is ever guaranteed, because there are 31 other teams out there also trying to get better. That’s essentially what happened to us this year. Any other year, you’re sitting great at 8-3. This year, two other teams in our division got better, so we’re staring at a likely 6 seed even if we win 12 games. I certainly can’t say it’s been a disappointing season, but a first round exit still seems more likely than a Super Bowl run right now. Something just still seems off. Maybe they’ll figure out what it is near the end of the season like they did last year.
  17. It’s been a weird year for QBs. I think really only Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have been consistently great, maybe Burrow. For the most part all the others have had up and downs, even the usually great ones.
  18. I don’t think so. You should see the Facebook groups — “Willis should be starting!!” “55 million dollar mistake!” I think most people here recognize that Jordan Love is our franchise QB. I think they’ve just been disappointed with his play this year, which honestly is understandable.
  19. Kenny Clark is washed up.
  20. Other than Jacobs, this offense has been nonexistent. Love has played very poorly. The Watson throw obviously wasn’t his fault, but there have been bad throws as part of his line too.
  21. Another chance to put the game away with even just a field goal and another 3 and out.
  22. Love had absolutely no business throwing that pass. Come on, man.
  23. I was starting Jerome Bettis in fantasy years ago when he had a line of 5 carries for 1 yard and 3 TDs.
  24. We had a guy on the INT who was either lined up in the neutral zone or a millimeter from it. Wasn’t called.
  25. Spotted 17 points by the 49ers B team at Lambeau and you can’t put them away. Pathetic.
