Judging by the fact that they’re doing everything they can to come back, they prefer us. I don’t think anyone prefers to face anyone more than us in the playoff field. Well, except for Carolina.

IMO the 3 teams in the West are clearly better.

There is no way that the Eagles prefer to face the 49ers over us. They don’t control their own destiny, and they likely don’t expect the Bears to lose. I think that has a lot more to do with it.

That was just kind of douchey by Lafleur. Try to get into the endzone on that last drive or just run out the clock and eat the shutout. Just make a decision. Running out the entire clock just to call timeout so you can kick a chip shot to lose 16-3 instead of 16-0 is just douchey.

The fact that they didn’t let Tune try to remotely carry anything with his arm tells me that he’s not on their radar for the backup QB job next year.

Agreed that there’s really nothing you can take out of this performance today. Just have to hope they’re ready to go next week. Better embrace the underdog role because they’re going to be one.

Interesting on different perspectives… one person feels Gute could be in jeopardy, another feels he is “solidly safe”. That’s why I think it’s hard to know what the FO is thinking right now on either guy in charge.

No GM is Hall of Fame level until they get a shot. That Elliot Wolf is looking pretty good right now.

I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but if the Packers get blown out by the Bears next week, they’d be one and done again and end the season on a 5 game losing streak. Can you really hand extensions to Gute and MLF following that and look like a serious franchise?

There might be more exciting things on television right now than watching this Packer game. Home shopping network, QVC, or perhaps something on Home and Garden.

Hope we get rested up, and the Bears take everything they have to secure the 2 seed. That’s our best bet for the WC round, I think.

The whole conversation actually was originally about Doc Rivers, until you for whatever reason decided to interject into it with nothing substantial or fact based, just a personal insult, even though you weren’t in any way even involved in that conversation up to that point.

Hey, I found him. The world’s first Doc Rivers apologist. I may put too much on the HC, but at least I’m not the poster with an injury/officiating excuse always at the ready.

Darnold has more TDs, more yards and his team is 13-3 and the current 1 seed. I mean, don’t get me wrong, between the two I am also taking Love as my QB. But as far as Pro Bowl snubs I’ve seen far more egregious. With that being said I think Seattle has their warts. I don’t think Green Bay is going to do anything in the playoffs but @Chicago and @Seattle would be about as realistic of a possible revenge tour as you could ask for. I’d want no part of the 49ers, no revenge coming there. I’d just be hoping Philly could knock them off if we got that far on the other side.

It’s a fine addition. Not saying it’s a good one, but he’s been good in the past. Who knows. We certainly have worse.

I probably won’t even watch. Tough break for anyone who overspent for tickets a month ago expecting a meaningful game.

Pretty sure the 49ers could put up 60 on our D if they wanted to go relatively quick tempo most of the game.

Because it’s literally the cheapest way to get really good players. If you’re failing at drafting in the first round, you’re failing your organization.
