    Everyone down on Lara but no one pointing out that Mitchell has been slumping far worse than Lara. Would I like to see Lara do a little more with the bat? Yes, but he’s still getting on base at a decent enough clip and clearly getting better and more comfortable in the outfield. Lockridge should be the odd man out, not Lara as Lockridge doesn’t offer any skillset in platoon advantage, power, baserunning or defense that Lara can’t already do, even if his playing time gets cut a bit. When Frelick returns you can rotate Frelick/Mitchell/Lara and they all play about 2 out of 3 games, which is fine.

    If you are going to put Yelich in the conversation to say the Brewers are LH offensively then I would counter with Chourio, Vaughn, Sanchez, and Ortiz.

    IMO Henderson is the guy you give the ball to in Game 2 of a playoff series.

    Pretty easily Tucker for the fact that he’s younger and has a better chance to rebound as well as the fact that he can actually play a position so you aren’t just clogging the DH spot every day. The Dodgers would never swap the two to get Yelich. Maybe the Brewers wouldn’t swap either but only because of optics.

    I mean, kind of too early to say on so many counts. We don’t even know what Skubal and May will do in the playoffs, we don’t know how much of a factor JoJo will be, let alone we don’t know what the careers of Pena, Frias and Ragsdale will be yet.

    Series is a success no matter what happens tomorrow. Heck if you win tomorrow the road trip itself isn’t a disaster.
