    I believe Kruk's exact quote about the Brewers last night was "they're a decent team" Did anyone else hear that? He did say either Monday or Tuesday when Vina was making his Sheffield prediction that the Pirates would be in 1st place by the end of August. I am sure that others on this board heard it as well. He reasoning is that they have good young players and I guess LaRouche is going to break out of his slump and become the next Ryan Howard.

    I want to see us do well against the Pirates for no other reason than to see Kruk eat crow about the Pirates being in 1st after May. I guess I don't see what the big man love is all about with LaRouche.

    For all of you who feel Ben needs to get back to striking people out to be back at his norm, just remember that back before 2004 he really wasn't a big strikout guy if I remember correctly. I was at the 18K performance and was thinking, "since when does Sheets K so many people?" That year was his big coming out party, but to say he needs to be striking people out to be back to normal may not be 100% accurate.

    Does it really matter where the wins come from right now? To me a win is a win is a win and right now those wins have us in first place. This team should only continue to get better as the season progresses making us better suited to face tougher competition.
