  1. Also: Pujols will resign for under market value because he loves St. Louis so much. Cards are classy
  2. Dear Brewers: If Casey Megehee can hit 3 HR's in a game against Jackson, then you as a team should be able to at least hit 3 as well. This guy is not that good, crush him. Sincerely, burnzy
  3. What? Are you posting from a mobile device or something?
  4. The team let Zack down tonight. He should be livid with them.
  5. Yea, you sure showed them for having a positive outlook before the game....
  6. Marcum to start game 6. Link I'm guessing Wolf's start must have convinced Roenicke to give Marcum another shot. He better be quick with the trigger if he struggles.
  7. You keep talking about how Braun backing up Kotsay could have prevented the run, yet you refuse to admit that if Gomez or Morgan are in center they catch the ball Kostay dove for standing up and Gomez probably catches the Pujols fly ball double as well. The pecking order of depth in CF goes 1. Morgan, 2. Gomez 3. JHJ, 4. Hart 5. Kotsay. The last two have no business in CP under normal circumstances. He plays below average D in RF and had no business in center. Heck, I would rather have Braun in CF than Kotsay.
  8. Another great thing is LaRussa really burned up his bullpen the last 2 days. You have to think Salas is gassed after pitching 2 today and 1 the day before. He has thrown almost 50 pitches in the past two days.
  9. I have supported Ron for the majority of the season, but putting Kotsay in CF is inexcusable and helped to put us in a 4-0 hole in the 1st. If he puts Kostsay in RF for Hart, fine, Hart has been struggling. But either Morgan or Gomez reaches that fly ball in the 1st standing up if they are in center. I can't even fathom how he can justify putting Kotsay in CF. He deserves to get grilled by the media for the call but it probably won't happen.
  10. Weeks at bats are so frustrating. That ankle injury just killed any momentum he had during the regular season.
  11. Honestly, if this NLCS was Cubs v. Cardinals, I would be pulling for the Cubs. I get annoyed of Cubs fans in Miller Park, but that was more due to the fact that that Crew didn't have good enough teams to fill up the park. Can hardly blame a fanbase for driving 90 miles to watch their team with so many tickets available, I have done the same thing and gone to Wrigley and everyone was really cool to me. Its way different than with the Cardinals, I can't stand anything about that team.
  12. Except the way Marcum has pitched the last 2 games (and month for that matter) no one would really second guess him for trying Narveson.
  13. He is also thinking about benching Morgan due to his poor defense, yet is considering putting Kotsay in CF against Carpenter. Makes perfect sense.
  14. But they were in 1st when he was starting!! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. For some reason all I can think of is when Sammy Sosa testified before Congress about steroids and somehow forgot to speak English that day.
  16. I think RR did the right thing by letting Greinke stay in. There was only one out so Hart still had a chance to hit him in and it would be nice to get one more inning out of him so it can go Saito, K-Rod, Ax.
  17. Now we get the Cardinal bullpen for 4-5 innings! We are in a great situation!
