  1. Well I guess I am wrong DMiles23. When the wind is blowing in its like Petco. DMiles? Whats up with idolizing Darius Miles?
  2. Well, Wrigley Field has no Power Alleys and when the Wind blows out its out of control. It is pretty impressive.
  3. I would of bunted with Durham, not that it would of changed the outcome. This is depressing
  4. Why does Fukudome flip his bat everytime he hits the ball? Im not complaining because it makes him look more stupid then he already does.
  5. Thats how you field a ball Weeks. Take Notes
  6. So if we lose tonight, are we going pink tommorow?
  7. At least we dont have to listen to god awful Len and Bob, Right?
  8. After that run crossed home plate I could hear Al Michaels yelling... "Do you belive in miracles? YEESS!"
  9. Oh my god, stop trying to win the game with one swing in the 1st inning.
  10. How many runs are we going to give away this series?
  11. Haha thank you. That's what happens when you have nothing better to do. I started thinking of the dumbest things to talk about after awhile.
  12. Did anyone enjoy my Stats? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Oh well, The Cubs are really patient so Parra will have to bring his A game.
  13. What's Chad Moeller thinking? "Man, why do we need a 3rd string catcher?"
  14. Crap, I had the link ready to go and i forgot to hit copy instead I hit "seriousness" because of the last message I had. MINE WAS 1st. But its ok. You got the link
  15. seriousness
  16. I don't think a sample size of 1 has all that much bearing... Obviously it was a joke. But.. If you want to look at it. 2007: Otsuka, Gagne - Otsuka is not in baseball after getting hurt and Gagne well struggled in Boston and has struggled in Milwaukee. 2006: Cordero - Worked out pretty well. 2003: Urbina - In Jail. But in all seriousness it would not suprise me one bit. Melvin loves to trade with his former club thats for sure.
  17. Not a fan of this. Maybe he could still be decent.. But.. Remember the last former closer to have arm/shoulder problems and go to Texas and pitch well?
  18. A guy I would like, but would be really REALLY bad on Defense would be... Aubrey Huff. Don't kill me this. He can play 3rd (just not really good defensivly)
  19. Ok this chart is really bad, but this is Dempsters last 3 starts..... IP H Runs ER BB K 7/23/2008 vs. Marlins (ND) 6 2 1 1 6 6 7/20/08 @ Astros (W) 8 6 0 0 1 7 7/13/08 vs. Giants (L) 6.2 7 4 4 3 6 As you can see, Dempster can walk the ball park. Unfortunately the Brewers really don't do that well. The Brewers in the last 3 games have drawn a total of 9 walks. Ryan Dempster in his career against the Brewers is 6-2 with a 2.53 ERA (Best against any team in the NL Central). 10 starts and 10 saves. Manny Parra in his career against the Cubs is 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA in 1 start against the Cubs. In his career Manny Parra has a 3.23 ERA at Miller Park. In his career Ryan Dempster has a 2.02 ERA at Miller Park. Brewer hitters In July... (BA/OBP/OPS) Rickie Weeks....253/.345/.785; 2 homers 10 rbis 18 runs JJ Hardy............366/.407/1.100; 9 homers 21 rbis Ryan Braun........376/.423/1.208; 9 homers 23 rbis Prince Fielder.....287/.406/.900; 4 homers 19 rbis Corey Hart.........277/.313/.770; 2 homers 10 rbis Bill Hall..............294/.360/.919; 4 homers 14 rbis Mike Cameron...260/.374/.868; 3 homers 13 rbis Jason Kendall.....171/.277/.509; 0 homers 4 rbis Russell Branyan...189/.250/.601; 1 homer 2 rbis Ray Durham........291/.375/.830; 1 homer 7 rbis Gabe Kapler.......237/.237/.632; 0 homers 4 rbis Mike Rivera had 11 offical at bats. Craig Counsell had 19 offical at bats. (.211) ------------------------------------------------------- Stupid Stupid stats The Brewers are 4-4 against the Cubs this year head to head. The Brewers are 16-9 in July. The Brewers are 4-3 in July in 1 run games. The Brewers are 1-0 in extra inning games in July. The Brewers run differential in July is +27. The Brewers have not loss on July 30th since 2002 (2-0 loss @ Mets) Sorry if all this is stupid or messy. I just have way to much time on my hand right now. GO CREW.
  20. I was thinking, How many other 2nd baseman would you rather have then Rickie Weeks for the next 2 months? Here is the list of starting 2nd baseman for every team in baseball. How many other guys would you rather have then Weeks? (Not trying to start a fight, im just wondering) Seattle Mariners - Jose Lopez Texas Rangers - Ian Kinsler LA Angels - Howie Kendrick Oakland A's - Mark Ellis Minnesota Twins - Alexi Casilla Detroit Tigers - Placido Polanco Chicago White Sox - Alexei Ramirez Cleveland Indians - Jammy Carrol/Asdrubal Cabrera Kansas City Royals - Mark Grudzielanek New York Yankees - Robinson Cano Boston Red Sox - Dustin Pedroia Baltimore Orioles - Brian Roberts Toranto Blue Jays - Marco Scutaro Tampa Bay Rays - Akinori Iwamura LA Dodgers - Jeff Kent San Francisco Giants - Ray Durham (lets pretend) Arizona Dimondbacks - Orlando Hudson Colorado Rockies - Jeff Baker/Clint Barmes San Diego Padres - Edgar Gonzalez Chicago Cubs - Mark DeRosa Cincinnati Reds - Brandon Phillips Houston Astros - Kaz Matsui Pittsburgh Pirates - Freddie Sanchez St. Louis Cardinals - Aaron Miles New York Mets - Luis Castillo Florida Marlins - Dan Uggla Atlanta Braves - Kelly Johnson Philadelphia Phillies - Chase Utley Washington Nationals - Felipe Lopez
