  1. As bad as McGehee has been this year the NL average for 3B this year is .257/.326/.376/.701
  2. Great win tonight. I don't care how fluky that hit by Lucroy was, I will gladly take it.
  3. You can't fire your helmet down directly in front of the ump and yell "no" right at him and expect not to be tossed.
  4. At least we are over reacting before the game starts now.
  5. No kidding Some here can't seem to see the point. Nobody was saying at all that Boggs was a lock to get a hit instead of Betancourt. In fact, by simple odds, Boggs was more than likely going to make an out. The point is why choose the guy who has been hitting abysmal, the guy who has hit worse vs righthanders in his career, a pitcher is on the mound who is extra tough on righthanded bats, and you have a switch hitter on the bench? Nobody is blaming Roenicke for the loss, but it's frustrating watching him so often making these baffling decisions. YB career OPS vs. rightys - .664 BB career OPS vs. rightys - .675 And Heath Bell's splits are not that far apart either. Its really not that big of a deal.
  6. I may have to take a few days off this board. The overreacting of Betancourt being pitched hit instead of Brandon freakin' Boggs is blowing my mind right now.
  7. Not be a terrible baseball player? But seriously, if you would of told me we would play 4 games out west, score 7 runs and split those games. I would probably be ok with that.
  8. Mark Kotsay coming into today had a LD% of 23.1. That is crazy.
  9. You know when your best option off the bench is Boggs, your bench isn't very strong.
  10. If the Dodgers are not going to play it, might as well take it.
  11. Don't buy that rationale. Do you see any of the other 4 starters call Lucroy out to the mound nearly as much as you do with Wolf? There's a trend here. Narveson has in the past if I recall.
  12. He has given up 3 hits and 1 of them was a slow chopper to a terrible shortstop. He has been walking guys but lets not say he is getting hit hard
  13. To be fair to Wolf. Narveson at times has had a problem working with Lucroy as well.
  14. Lead off double wasted. Runners on 1st and 3rd with Braun and Fielder up wasted.
