  1. Yeh, he was trying to hit it out of the infield.Yeah he was trying to hit it out of the park instead of trying to just make contact. Terrible swings
  2. It was more of a tongue in cheek statement after the Hamilton situation earlier this year
  3. Just because Sedar sent him doesn't mean Lucroy should of went.
  4. Wow, I hope Narveson gets the same strike zone he struck out on. Way outside.
  5. Nice job Carlos! Ripped that double. Way to stop at 2nd as well.
  6. I think over the past year here I have been one of the biggest if not the biggest Gomez supporters on this board. As endaround noted, Gomez's defense alone makes him about an average starter. If he could hit even a little bit he would be above average. And when he was hitting 2nd I said all along as well he has no business hitting that high. If you bat him 8th and give him a full season's of at bats I really think he would be a solid player for the Brewers. He just needs to play everyday. His only year he played in over 140 games he had a WAR of 2.4 in that year. In a line up with Braun, Fielder, Weeks, Hart and McGehee. I really think having a elite defensive CF and AS LONG AS HE IS HITTING 8TH is just fine. And I understand he does some boneheaded things on the basepaths, but guess what? So does Nyjer Morgan. So even though he can be frustrating as heck at times, as long as he is hitting 8th he is perfectly fine playing everyday IMO. And he certainly is not "worthless" or "terrible" as some people on this board might think.
  7. Remember BA was the announcer when Halladay threw his no hitter in the playoffs. And he mentioned is like 40 times. I would think a perfect game here would be fitting.
  8. I watched it again, he was diving side ways while the ball was still in the air.
  9. Nice work in the 1st by the Brewers. Making Garcia throw 9 pitches.
  10. Remember when some people thought Holliday wouldn't hit that well outside of Coors? Oops.
