Another day, another triple for Lawrie. Make that 14 on the year to go along with 28 SB. This may be a dumb question, but how fast is Lawrie? And how fast is he compared to other current Brewers?
How does that make him a tool? Is he the only one that has ever flipped his bat? He does it EVERY TIME not just on home runs. Is there a reason why that bothers you so much?
For the Twins number 2 rated prospect C Wilson Ramos. You can't make this stuff up. http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/6270335/23524606?tag=mccBlogView;comBlogEntryListMiniCnt
Reds broadcasters (Thom Brennaman) mentioned something pretty funny a couple innings ago. Joe Inglett went 0-5 with 3k at the plate. And threw a scoreless/hitless inning Yovanni Gallardo gave up 10 hits in 2.2 innings and hit a 3 run home run.
I would rather have Hart hitting 5th. Fielder is getting nothing to hit with runners in scoring position with McGehee behind him. Happened again today where they pitched around Fielder to get to McGehee.
The lineup is second in the NL in runs scored. They aren't the Yankees, but it isn't that bad of a lineup. THIS current line up is not 2nd in the NL in runs scored. Since April, McGehee has OPS'd around .743.
Game blacked out however I will be watching this game thro the tiny window on the Direct TV mix window! Yes I need a life. Weeks Escobar Braun Fielder McGehee Lucroy Gomez Inglett Narveson
When you have given up 5 or 6 hard hit balls by the 3rd inning, its probably a bad outing. He actually got lucky that Phillips decided to go for 3 in the first or it probably would of been worse.
Very poor start for Yo. Just did not have anything. Reminded me of when Sheets didn't having anything and it was basically BP. At least Yo hit a homer.
