You really can't compare a NFL GM to a MLB GM at all. -
I don't think it's scheduled, but it's not unusual for him to get a day off or even a couple days off in a row.I see, thank you.

Spring Training numbers really don't mean anything however. I still don't know what to think about this move. I don't belive Hardy should of been sent down, but part of me is excited to watch Escobar. Escobar better play every day or im gonna be upset. I also belive Hardy does have value. This does seem like a strange time to do this, but who knows.

Macha just said Escobar would not start tonight, he would play against left handers and would go game by game against rightys. Oh God pease no. Please just play him everyday Macha. Please.

Gamel 0-4. He needs to start hitting. his BA is down to .278. (And yes I know BA isnt everything) -
Hall went 2-4 with 2 RBI's and a error. Gamel went 0-3 with 2k's. He is struggling.

JJ Hardy was 4th in the NL in OPS by a SS last year and 6th in 2007. He also plays above avg. defense at shortstop. I would call that being a good player

Agreed 100 percent Stevo. I just don't think if you can keep trading top prospects every trade deadline.

Halladay? No way we could trade for him. He would of cost us the entire farm to get him. Escobar/Parra +. No thank you. Peavy? He would not of helped us this year most likley. Lee? Price was way to high for him here. No way I wanted to trade a top prospect for Lee. IMO. I didn't wanna trade Escobar or Hardy for Washburn either. You have to give up alot of talent to aquire a pitcher that would not be a sure thing to get us into the playoffs.

What exactly did you want him to do?Give up Gamel or Escobar if that is what it was going to take to get a LEGITIMATE 1 or 2 starter. Offer better prospects for a DECENT arm if you have to. But most of all I didn't want to have to see the Brewers trot out Mike Burns or Carlos Villanueva any more. That's just embarrassing and gives you almost NO chance to win 2 out of every 5 starts.Okay what LEGITIMATE 1 or 2 starter was out there for us to get?

Its pretty depressing seeing how many people on this board is already saying we are out of it. Its not like we are 10 games out. Its 4 freakin games. Does it look bad right now? Heck yeah it does, but im not ready to give up.

Well im glad we didnt trade any of our prospects. I guess all we can do now is hold on for dear life to this season and go down fighting. I know im holding on.

Ryan Braun is not that very smart, even if he is safe.

Since being send down to triple a, Gamel is 3-24 with 10k's ANDhas played everyday. He needed a day off. No biggie.

Yeah you are overreacting a bit. We probably are not gonna trade for anyone and we are probably not gonna trade anyone away. This will be the team we have the rest of the year. Baring injurys we will trot the same guys out everyday.

How would bringing in 1 new pitcher help, when that would still mean... Looper, Suppan and Parra all have to pitch every 5th day?
