    Funniest Article Ever? Yeah, so this guy on Foxsports.com writes this hilariously atrocious article on why Sabermetrics almost destroyed baseball. I got this from firejoemorgan.com and I'm so glad I saw this. Enjoy.

    I do not believe we have won a game the entire season when we trailed in the 9th inning. Like the 9th game of the season against the Marlins. Hardy doubled to tie it in the 9th. Then the game got called off, and we won it in the 13th the next day on a Fielder single.

    UeckerAddict, I haven't gotten the opportunity to listen to "Excellent Italian Greyhound" yet. Does it compare to "1000 Hurts?"

    In no particular order: Of Montreal- "Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?" Wilco- "Sky Blue Sky" (although the more I listen to it, the more I'm a little disappointed. It's almost starting to sound like a slightly more compact A Ghost is Born, which in my opinion isn't really a compliment) Arcade Fire- "Neon Bible" Ryan Adams- "Easy Tiger" Dinosaur Jr.- "Beyond" LCD Soundsystem- "Sound of Silver" Modest Mouse- "We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank" Battles- "Mirrored" (if you haven't heard this album, I highly recommend it) Panda Bear- "Person Pitch" EDIT: And how could I forget "Icky Thump?" I thoroughly enjoyed it.

    I highly recommend going over to Northside Baseball and reading their IGT. Trust me, it's worth it.

    I'll be there as well, but for the first time I get to sit in one of the boxes. I don't really know what to expect, but I just want everyone up there to leave me alone so I can watch Yo for the 2nd time. It does like an inordinate amount of bf.netters are going today...

    As a Northwestern guy, it's impossible not to think of what happened to Coach Walker last year. If you haven't, you should read Ivan Maisel's article on Hoeppner and Walker.     Alright, since it's likely the guy I was supposed to go with tonight can't go, I have a free ticket available in section 227, good seats. Just PM me with your number that you want me to contact you with (I'll be done with work at around 4:30), and it's first come first serve. I'm 22, so if you feel awkward hanging with someone on the younger side, take that into consideration. Also, it's not for sure because my friend still has to let me know, but just PM me and we'll work from there.
