    Yost has to realize that Fielder has no protection from Estrada in the 5 hole, so they're just going to continue to pitch around him. Jenkins or Hall need to be in the 5 hole instead of Mr. I Can't Get on Base.

    McCann HAS to block that ball. If he just had his glove down in the dirt that would have been an easy block, instead it slides right under his glove and we get the lead. I love it.

    Yeah, but bucksman you were calling him out earlier in the thread. Stop avoiding the question and just admit you were wrong and give Sheeter his due. I seriously sometimes question whether or not you want the Brewers to win when Sheets starts.

    We have to stop trying to pull all of those outside pitches. I don't think either Smoltz or Villarreal have thrown a pitch on the inside part of the plate.

    Estrada, you know that you can take a pitch so that you get a pitch to pull later in the AB, instead of just swinging at everything.

    But you said you're used to seeing these types of games from him, not the fact that he gives up 3 earned runs in the 1st inning. It wouldn't be weird if he gave up a run in the 1st, but the fact he gave up 3 IS quite weird, considering he usually gives up 3 or less for an entire outing.

    Well, I'm glad you said that we officially have reason to gripe, bucksman. Now we MUST gripe because you claim an ace will stop a losing streak no matter what. He's struggling, oh no he sucks! Oh wait, no he doesn't because I look at his last 7 starts and see that he hasn't given up more than 3 ER and has pitched more than 6 innings except for the time against the Cubs he got pulled. Oh and I also see the guy who won both of our games on the road trip in NY and Philly. But I guess you see a guy who struggled in the 1st inning of one game this year, so we must gripe. OK.

    I turn 21 in around an hour. I can't even describe my excitement considering all of my friends have been 21 for at least 5 months.

    I would think that would be a wonderful idea. I'm definitely down. EDIT: Sheepshead is the best card game there is, so Sheepshead+Brewers would equal an amazing time. I'll bring the beer the first night.
