What a loser. Bashing smaller market teams. Just when I thought I couldn't dislike the Steinbrenners any more than I already do. He sounds like David Stern, not wanting to leave teams in small markets.

In case anyone was curious, in his 1st outing Dylan pitched 7 innings, gave up 7 hits, 4 er, struck out 7 and walked 2 against Winthrop on Saturday. edit: fixed code http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif --1992

Trying to clear out some of my stuff and came across a ticket stub signed by Mitch Stetter. First person to pm me their address can have it. Update: ticket has been claimed

I've been to 27ish I believe and without hesitation I can say PNC Park is my favorite. Two I've not been to that look great on tv that I am dying to go see are Coors & Kauffman.

...wanting to see the Brewers win the World Series....

Friend of mine is a diehard Twins fan and couldn't be happier to get rid of this guy and from all he's told me about Punto we should be glad we didn't get him...he's just 1 of those good fielding, crappy hitting "gritty battlers." That's about it.

^ and also the title of the thread made me laugh

This has to be the most exciting matchup for the WS ever for me. No Yankees and 2 teams who haven't won a title..that's my kind of matchup!

I'd like to see Cora or Roenicke. Roenicke may be interesting...former Angels guys from under Scioscia seem to do decent..Bud Black, Joe Maddon off the top of my head.

I have a bad feeling both will go 7 games as well. Come on Rangers end this thing tonight!!!!

Amen brother. Just a piece of NY ghetto trash.

I have Time Warner Cable so I can't buy Sunday Ticket and am curious if there's any websites you can watch games either for free or a paid membership?

I would love love love to see Rogers and/or Jeffress get the call for September. It'd be awesome to see them on the mound here.

    Where did you hear/see this?
  20. Cracked Bat Collector
Wow that is awesome! I have game used stuff but nothing can top a Yount batting glove haha you're lucky. Do you have it displayed at all at your house?

There's nothing that angers me more than having a guy in scoring position with no outs and not scoring him. Why not have Cain or Gomez try a push bunt to get McGehee home? Just no creativity by Macha ever..I'm sick of it.

NL West-Padres NL Central-Reds NL East-Braves NL Wild Card-Giants AL West-Texas AL Central-Twins AL East-Rays AL Wild Card-Red Sox (I hate them but would rather see them in than the Yankees who I loathe) ALCS-Rangers/Rays NLCS-Reds/Padres WS Rays/Rangers over Reds/Padres Basically as long as the Yankees don't win it I'll be fine with whoever wins it

Interesting comment from Adam McCalvy on Twitter: "Macha says Carlos Gomez will rejoin Brewers on Sat. but couldn't say how he'd get on the roster. Trade in the works? Just thinking aloud."

Anyone think we should maybe look into possibly signing Barret Loux for the right price despite him failing his Dbacks physical? They have declared that he will be a free agent come Sept. 1st. and is eligible to sign with anyone.
