  1. It seems like we are getting a lot of sacrifice flys in situations that you would really like to get a hit. With runners on first and third, a sac fly seems to kill momentum even though the run scores. I'll take the runs, but it would be nice to bust out a little more with some hits..
  2. On the pregame show, Yost said he is starting Liefer because he was swinging a hot bat in the minors and he did not want him to come up here and sit for several days and get rusty.
  3. It's nice to finally win the first game of a series. It has been a while. The offense still scares me though. Especially Gary Bennet and Brady Clark.
  4. Too bad Overbay keeps getting intentionally walked. Ginter is 0 for 2 batting behind him with runners on base.
  5. These losers can't even get a flyball or grounder to score a run. Pathetic.
  6. Is Chad Moeller still on the team ? He hasn't had many starts lately.
  7. One of the most boring and lifeless Brewers games I have seen. After the first inning, it was a complete waste of time. They looked totally dead out there tonight.
  8. It's time to go Milton Bradley on Ben Grieve.
  9. OH MY GOD GRIEVE DID IT AGAIN !!
  10. Oh my god is Gary Bennet SLOW. That 8th spot in the lineup is becoming a real cancer. I miss Keith Osik.
  11. What in the name of Kevin Reimer was Grieve doing out there?
  12. Nerves, nerves, and more nerves. No problem.
  13. Ben's first pitch . . . 9:24 Central Time A low curveball to Dave Roberts
  14. Edwin Jackson's fastball looks awfully flat. He doesn't seem to have much movement on it.
  15. Podsednik does it again !! 1-0 Brew Crew.
  16. They just showed Hendrickson on TV. I guess this is really happening folks.
  17. Considering all the interest in the debut of Ben Hendrickson, I wonder if Brewerfan.net will have a huge walkup crowd tonight http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I can feel the buzz !!!
  18. We did see Tom Hanks on TV. Jennifer Love Hewitt was also there too. Nice to see some movie stars taking in a Brewers victory. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  19. Amazing performance by Doug Davis tonight. The Brewers have been getting a lot of clutch starts by guys like Davis, Chris Saenz, Matt Wise, and Johnny Wholestaff. It's nice to have some depth so that we don't have to throw some scrub like Ruben Quevedo out there. I was really happy that Podsednik had a huge game. We really needed that. Nice win. !! Looking forward to seeing Ben Hendrickson tomorrow.
  20. Squarepusher, did you have the expressed written consent of Major League Baseball for posting that image?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  21. I will be furious if Davis ends up with another loss or no-decision. He deerves a "W" for a change. I am still furious that Counsell did not bunt in the last inning. I can't let it go. It's gonna bother me all night.
  22. I am stunned Counsell did not drop a sac bunt there. The offense is struggling and it would have been nice to get a guy in scoring position. He just hit into a double play. I don't like it at all.
  23. Is there any batter who chokes more than Chad Moeller? He never seems to get a big hit when you need it.
  24. Jeff Weaver's pitches have a lot of movement. The Brewers should just let themselves get hit on those funky inside pitches. We could have had two more baserunners already.
  25. I lived in Southern California for two years. It stinks to be a baseball fan there. All the televised road games on the East Coast seem over by the time you get home from work. The traffic is so bad that people arrive late and leave early during the home games. Be thankful that the Brewers play on Central time for the most part.
