    Why was Ben Sheets even allowed to swing away with the bases loaded and Podsednik on deck? That double play killed the inning. Take your three strikes and sit down. Ned should have given him the take sign, especially knowing that Sheets is a terrible hitter. Bad baseball there.

    I HATE Bob Brainerd. What a waste of time That guy is terrible. FSN should cut the nonsense and get rid of him. I thought Craig Coshun did a better job at covering stories around the ballpark. He seemed more professional and his stories were more baseball-related. I can live with the bucketheads, but that Karate crap is just stupid.

    These guys are swinging early in the count tonight. When was the last time we saw Pods swinging at the first pitch? Perhaps the Cards figured out last time that the Brewers are taking more pitches and so they are being told to throw strikes early. Maybe the Brewers are trying to compensate for that.

    The Diamondbacks' hitters keep trying to pull the ball with no success. Maybe they should try hitting it the other way.

    I get the feeling someone is going to get ejected tonight for arguing balls and strikes. There seems to be frustration with the home plate umpire. He seems inconsistent.

    his play seems pretty lackadaisical. It looks as though he's just coasting. That's exactly why Lou Piniella could not stand Ben Grieve in Tampa Bay last season.

    I really want the Brewers to beat up on Arizona and finish the season with a a better record than the Diamondbacks. Anytime a player gets traded out of Milwaukee and seems very happy and excited to be leaving, it makes me feel sick. I take it very personally. I am not going to lie. I would honestly feel better if the Diamondbacks sank down the toilet this season.
