  1. Man am I excited to see Jorge Julio.
  2. Again with the baserunning.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  3. Yeah, I've been watching our adopted home team game way more than our "other" team.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  4. I hope those of you going to the game will give Cleveland a good cheering for. Those guys have got to feel so out of place.
  5. So that's 9 straight games the Brewers have lost to the Marlins.
  6. Relax - we still get to face Jorge Julio. I feel better all of a sudden.
  7. When you agree with Ned Yost, Corey Hart strikes out.
  8. Does Mench always swing at the first pitch?
  9. Billy almost caught that ball. It's an error, but you could easily argue that a slower CF wouldn't have even made it to that ball.
  10. Two things that upset me: Baserunning mistakes and defensive mistakes.
  11. You know what that means... We get one hit as the foreigner gets a complete game shutout?
  12. What are the chances the Brewers drive in a leadoff triple?
  13. Do we really need WC standings before August? No one said anything when the Brewers were tied for first in the WC standings earlier.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  14. Shawn Hill is looking like a pretty good pitcher too. I've watch both his starts (don't ask) and he's got good stuff. If only the Nats had any kind of defense and maybe a Soriano in the lineup, they could actually get the poor guy a win. Honestly, based on the two games I've watched, they are lucky they aren't scored for three times the errors that the scorekeeper records.
  15. So I googled OBP and I think I figured it out. If Counsell's sac-fly total (which isn't listed on MLB.com) is greater than his walk total, it makes his OBP lower than his AVG. Is this right? Still a really weird thing to me.
  16. I'm pretty far from a stats guru so this quesiton is pretty bush league I'm sure. I was browsing the Brewer's stats page on MLB.com (LINK) and I noticed that Counsell's OBP was less than his Batting Average. His OBP is listed as .250 and AVG as .267. I was under assumption that OBP was just a players AVG, plus the times he reaches base from BB or HBP. Just curious why this is.
  17. So this game is on WGN and that's why MLB.TV is blacked out for me? Arghh.
  18. Counsell's splits against Z look pretty good, and maybe we'll finally see Damian. He has a lot more experience than Estrada against Z. Good to see Braun with 1.000 fielding percentage. I like it, Woogie.
  19. Weeks looking foolish against Hill.
  20. Just a couple runs against Hill is all I ask.
  21. http://www.fcps.edu/BushHillES/images/admin/BHAT.JPG Hill is the one on the right.
