  1. I'll venture a guess as to the lineup: Weeks Hardy Jenks Lee Fielder Miller Koskie Clark
  2. I'm not remaining humble. I have had the lead for a week and am confident I will finish in the top four. I'm ready for June. Then the real competition starts.
  3. I missed the game today, but a good performance from everyone, even the guy pictured below. http://www.azstarnet.com/ss/2005/05/22/76271-1.jpg
  4. from bravesbeat.com Posted by: Stu at April 25, 2006 08:36 PM I wonder if the Braves will be the only team this year to allow a SB to Lee and Fielder in the same series. How can that be possible? If they let Brady get a SB, then they can feel ashamed.
  5. I would really like to know how all these Braves fans got front row tickets at Miller Park. Don't they know the Braves moved to Atlanta.
  6. E4 Edit: They ruled it a single.
  7. Both pitchers have thrown only 70 pitches through 6 innings. I wouldn't mind having 2 complete games with the Brewers winning 3-2.
  8. Nice steal by Carlos... One question...as I'm listening to the game on the radio Ueck was focusing on the fact that Hudson almost got hit with the bat...Did Gross move over to third on the play, or did he have to score from second on the single? Gross made it to third. Hudson came about 2 feet from losing his head to that bat, Helling style.
  9. Another 2 out hit. Alright Fielder!!! Nice dribbler through the hole.
  10. Nice work Carlos. That's almost as good as impaling Hudson with a broken bat.
  11. No way that HR goes out without the picknick area.
  12. So Chipper is back in the lineup. It looks like Ohka does pretty well against him though.
  13. Geoff does well against Oswalt. He also has 2 HR in his 34 ABs against him. Sheets is 2 for 4 against Oswalt which is interesting since I can't specifically remember any 2 hits Sheets had last year or any year. Weeks has 1 HR against Oswalt in 6 ABs. Saying that Oswalt is due for a bad game is like saying we're due for snow in summer, but considering how we have traditionally hit some of the best starters in the game, nothing is out of the quesiton.
  14. Yeah, it's a long season. I think every baseball fan has to remind themselves of this at the beginning of the season.
  15. DHonks - If you were in my league I would gladly trade away one of my 5 closers for an OF, since Griffey is officially on the 15 day DL.
  16. It's a little different than standard roto scoring, because we are using OPS instead of AVE. (I like this because it indirectly gives me credit for walks). So the categories are as follows: Offense: Runs, HR, RBI, SB, OPS Pitching: Wins, Saves, K, ERA, WHIP If you want to see where you stand in each of these categories, click on full standings on the rank menu. This will also let you know in what areas you need to improve.
  17. Hey Iron Chef, your all Brewers team isn't doing all that great. Good thing you have Eckstein to support the offense. JK.
  18. We're probably going to need another hit or two tonight.
  19. Alright Geoff! The Brewers now batting .105 against Buchholz and have the lead.
  20. So the Brewers are batting .055 as a team against this first time starter.
  21. Bush is getting the job done with that curveball. He's retired 8 out of the last 9 hitters. We have the top of the order coming up. Let's get it done!!!
  22. Helms with a hit for the Marlins. He's batting close to .500 in this young season.
  23. I'll see the rest of the winners in June. I'm doing pretty good right now. I'm using a strategy involving a lot of relievers and it seems to be paying off.
  24. Is anyone having trouble with MLB.TV? It usually works for me, but today it's not opening up. I guess I'll call the hotline.
