    Keep in mind also this is in the Third Ward.. Lease is probably through the roof, and it is a more upscale neighborhood.

    Larussa and co. want it both ways.. Preach on playing "the right way" then slow the game down to 4+ hours with 1000 "situational" pitching changes, and make use of every one of baseball's "unwritten rules" yourself, then UNLEASH THE KRACKEN if someone turns the tables. . But most of all it's this idiotic notion that this team and their fans somehow fell right out of a Norman Rockwell painting that is getting really friggen tiresome.. Shut up, the fans are just as unruly and knob-tastic as any around, no one can claim divinity anymore...

    Loved the victories, but I agree with Ajay, you can feel that towns' frustration. Been there, done that..

    Another option, if the Miller Time pub at the downtown Hilton used to offer free shuttles to the game.. Not sure if they still do, may not hurt to ask.

    I suggest going to the Harley museum's restaurant "Motor".. Mid priced food (steaks, burgers, etc) great bar, and weather permitting, they have a wonderful riverside patio. I agree that you should buy in advance, it being a bobble head day.. Or take a cab to Kelly's Bleachers, Long Wongs, or any other establishment along Bluemound rd..All have free gameday shuttles, although it is more of a "tavern" type atmosphere on these..

    You can also charter school buses, check the local school bus co.. No sure of the cost, but my friend did this a few years ago, had a keg on it..

    If you've never listened to this podcast, try it, it's great.. In the last segment, perhaps 5 min from the end, Mike Pesca goes on tear about Suppan's contract which is a must listen. It's along the line of "what kind of world is it, when a guy like Jeff Suppan can make 12.5 mil" and he goes on to say "dont get me wrong, the fans of the Brewers HATE Jeff Suppan" And he recites the story of his "neck injury" being due to lack of pillows in his ST condo, forcing him to sleep on rolled up towels.. www.slate.com or itunes

    I'm goin with Saz's like every year...Although this will probably be my last opening day with the amount of fights, public evacuation of one's various orifices and the general lack of enjoyment...Wont miss it...Not worth it..

    Bingo. I think shared revenue would be a lot easier to pass than a salary cap, as well. But don't you give the Yankees/Sox power over the entire league then? Think an NYC resident who already ponies up extra for the YES network is going to sit while their money goes into a rival teams coffer? I dunno, I'm probably wrong, just seems too.... Easy?

    When I've stayed there I have noticed some strange goings on.. The liquor from my mini bar keeps disappearing! I call the front desk to ask for a refund and he just said "blawaht do you waaannnt mi ta du abouyt it, sleep it uff" and mysteriously, the line goes dead..

    Doesnt the Metra run to Kenosha too? And oh by the way the Big Bang at Summerfest is Friday night, and there are lane closures from HWY 50 to the state line.. A cluster you know what no matter how you slice it..

    This is like the person who says "man, 6 month of winter sucks! I want summer heat!" then as soon as temps break 80 car windows up, a/c on.. 40 something years at CS with an even more open footprint than MP facing the exact same direction = no complaints... I still think my tinted film on the windows would be a huge difference (anyone remember when MP first opened, the mens and womens bathrooms on the lodge level were clear glass, then they added that frosted film)? Only this would be tinted stuff like that..
