  1. alright, here is the first hint - one of the numbers is the number that vinny rottino wore during his brewers debut...
  2. corey hart 8x10? http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg62/joebenson5/Autographed%20Photos/8x10/100_6194.jpg
  3. you can take it off a ball with a little sandpaper if anyone cares too...i've done it before, you can take a personalization off about anything except a jersey, or a card that isn't glossy
  4. yep, that is the 16x20 that i purchased as well...haven't gotten it yet...
  5. yes, the number is completely random and has still not been guessed...
  6. you aren't a very good wizardhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  7. i don't generally mind personalizations, because i don't plan on selling stuff either, but i would mind if i was paying for it...i guess for me i don't like it because when i get an autograph of ryan braun, the autograph isn't about me...for example i got an autograph of mat gamel on a bat, and he added to brian best wishes, and even though it is on display either way no matter what he puts on it, imo it would look better with just his signature, it doesn't feel like my name should be on his bat... but i suppose braun wasn't getting anything from the signing either... sounds like it was a fun event, hopefully next year i can ask off work in time and go
  8. also, what precludes someone from submitting a post with every number between 1 and 500? i would hope that our posters would have more integrity than that, let's just say you can only have one guess every 12 hours? i really don't see it as a problem, i don't think anyone would do that? but as an update, the number is still there
  9. just as an update before i hit the hay, the number is still out there...good luck to everyone...
  10. I asked Brian if it was alright to do a small contest for this extra photo of Hardy that I have...I got the photo myself and so I guarantee it to be real, it is an extra and is doing me no good sitting in a binder...here is the way it will work, please pick a number between 1 and 400. Brian and I are the only ones that know the number, the first person to guess the correct number wins the photo... Good Luck and Thanks! http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg62/joebenson5/Autographed%20Photos/8x10/100_5933.jpg
  11. uecker is not a freindly person, completely different on the radio...
  12. the 2 page argument on fielder is what i was talking about, stuff like that happened last year too, i don't remember the thread, but it was on uecker and it ended up being an argument about "autographs..." maybe i didn't use the right word when i was describing it
  13. durham can't play short, this is a great deal, no sense in escobar just sitting on the bench
  14. Well, up to and including this post, the only mention of said topic was yours. A couple folks have said that they wouldn't pay for autographs, which I don't believe means they think autographs are stupid, just that they won't pay someone to write their name on something. For free? Sure. This is not in the trading post because nothing is being traded. haha, that didn't last very long
  15. i got rivera last year too...
  16. it isn't worth it to have a ball signed by dave bush in the first place
  17. greg, as i said i can't go, but if i could i would be there at 6...at the real on deck, i got there by 6 and was the first one by 20 minutes the last two years... good luck to everyone that is going, and post your successes
  18. what is the best return you have ever gotten, if you don't mind me asking?
  19. i really can't say anything that hasn't been said, but it will be weird not having jim on the radio...good luck in atlanta...
  20. stop judging the guy, it hasn't been said why he wasn't originally going to be there, so why assume that he is a jerk?
  21. those books are nice, but they honestly don't help you anymore than a sportscollectors.net account if you ask me...for example, even if you have derek jeter's home address, he isn't going to sign your card ttm, i just prefer having scn, and having access to some addresses, but the successes and failures of everyone, it has already paid for itself from the things i would have sent out but didn't because those players don't sign
  22. dmiles, i see what you mean, but i got him at the lot last year 4 different times, and i only went 7 or 8 times... on a side note, shouldn't this thread be in the trading post? it seems like every time there are threads like this in the MLB forum it turns into a discussion of how stupid autographs are...
  23. prince is one of the best signers in the game, just because he isn't at the on deck, doesn't mean he isn't a nice guy...
  24. hey, just so you know, you can do this yourself, cam is almost a lock ttm, and here is his address if you are interested: 111 Congressional Court McDonough, GA 30253-4247
