I will be sitting in Earth Science during the game, so this would suck, because I wouldn't see any of it... But having Braun or Fielder suspended would not be fun.

bikeage braun personalizes jerseys if you care...
  3. billyhallfan
that is going to be an absolute madhouse for braun, why can't they put anyone else on that week to spread it out a little? Oh well, I'm not going to be able to get there until 3:30, I hope that is early enough

no morgan is only with espn, he wasn't very freindly, but he did sign

jimmy...if you were coming in the home plate enterance to the right of the team store, and go up that escalator...then take a left before the pressbox, there is an elevator there. It says "media elevator." All of the announcers come through that, they come up before, and ride down after, I just did it with Joe Morgan, and I know that Ron Santo, Tony Gwynn, and Jim Palmer have all signed there. Uecker also comes up there, and he will sign for you, but he will berate you first, if you really want it that bad...

that was awful, bad throw, but fielder should of had it.

some brewer fan you are! http://thebaseballcube.com/players/E/Matt-Erickson.shtml

I disagree with both of those, I think C.B. Buckner is the worst...haven't seen him in a while though.

we got vitters which is who i went for, i stayed over on the chiefs side to get flaherty i think, greg went over to the brewers side, lawrie and dykstra both signed, he got lawrie, but it was a mad house, and i didn't even try over there...tried for them down the line after stretching, but neither even looked.... No big deal though, because they will come to beloit. The biggest autograph of the night for me though was Matt Erickson!!!

does anyone know the reason why kendall can't play for macha? They seem to get along, but the guy just seems to play worse when Macha is the manager for the team Kendall is on?

mickey - i just looked it up, and that site had it as the westin...hope that helps, good luck.
  14. billyhallfan
mickey - i think it would be well worth your time. plus it is a great stadium as well

mickeydavis, i don't remember the name, but it is along beyond the outfield, it is within walking distance of the stadium, and most of the players walk to the stadium...autograph collectors love st. louis, because almost everyone signs as they make the trek to the stadium, if you would like me to find more info on the hotel, i can ask around on another message board if you are interested, but if anyone is looking to get autographs, that is a great place to do it...

rickey- this is off topic, so i apologize, but just wondering if you are making the trip to cooperstown to watch rickey get inducted this summer?

won't be long until he is the skipper of the cubs, less than three years i would think...a class act too, he signed every single day for everyone at the ballpark, and according to other midwest league graphers for other teams, he did the same...so after the cubs get swept in the playoffs again, i have to think that talk will come about that ryne should be in chicago.
  18. billyhallfan
greg, he is with west tenn. i believe, or whatever their AA affiliate is... I'll most likely be going after Josh Vitters... however, I think it will be nuts for Lawrie and Dykstra, so I might just have to wait until they all come to Beloit, that wouldn't be a problem either, but Vitters will be the best prospect on the field friday night.

bikeage, that is tough, because the manager is supposed to go where you have weeks, but then which one was supposed to be there?
  20. billyhallfan

last year when the brewers were at wrigley in september, i had to go to the bathroom really bad, so I popped into the Starbuck's across the street and Melvin and Ash were having coffee with Jim Hendry, I really didn't say anything, but Melvin said hello, Ash was on the phone, it was pretty cool...

some of the guys you listed are in some sort of broadcasting... Gwynn coaches SDSU and Broadcasts for the Padres.

just be prepared to get booed and stuff thrown at you for having your brewers stuff on, their parking is a lot like miller park's, parking is all around the park....I also reccomend going to Independence Hall, we did that when we were there.
